Great backpack but still NO replacement for the Helags.....Its a step in the wrong direction. Helags was a great bag for bushcraft and Hiking! R.I.P Helags

Beautiful, well thought-out bags. I do wish, however, the 58L Kaipak would have compression straps from underneath to cradle the bottom of the pack. That way it takes some stress off the bottom compartment zipper. It would also add extra expansion capability to strap something to the bottom of the pack.
