    As a V2 owner, I live in Taiwan. I agree your pros and cons for V2. I haven’t had issues as you mentioned. My only issue was difficult to start when the bike is cold,and the dealer reset the computer,then the problem is fixed.

    • @RAZRMOTOV2
      @RAZRMOTOV2 Před rokem +3

      I am an owner as well and as far as sidestand are concerned... Ducati designed theirs to be picked at (the very tip) with front of toe right below the footpeg. Takes a little practice, I found, as I discovered after searching thru online forums. I wear track boots primarily and it's been easier to do with my Sidi brand somewhat pointy toes.... Hope this helps if you haven't already figured it out.

    Nice detailed review! I’m considering getting the v2. For the heat issue, do you feel the heat would be too much of an issue for someone that lives in a moderate and hot climate or can it be manageable and not too much of a problem? I live in California where the weather is moderate to hot all year round. I prefer sport bikes over naked bikes and will mostly be using the bike for urban and canyon riding. No interest in taking it to the track but I may try some track days in the future.

    • @scandimc

      @leepaihan Před 2 lety +10

      I live in SoCal (OC to be exact) and I've had my V2 for over a year now. I mostly use it for commuting to and from work and occasionally do some canyon rides with the local Ducati club. I personally think the heat isn't that much of an issue. I wear jeans lined with Kevlar in certain locations. Yes, the heat is noticeable when temps are 85+ out but it's very manageable as long as the bike is moving, especially on the highway. Once you get to a light, you certainly can feel the heat emanating from under the seat and you'll feel it on the insides of your legs. Is it painful? Not so much. If I were to rate the pain from the heat 1-10 (10 being your legs are on fire) I would give it a 4 or 5 at most. During our CA winters, this heat is a welcome reprieve and the heat feels great between your legs. As long as you're not out riding in bumper to bumper traffic in 90+ temps, you will be just fine. I promise.

    Hi from Spain! Very nice review! I also have the V2 but the Troy Bayliss edition and I had it for a year and a half now. I’m just curious about some things: 1) how good are the Bridgestone S22 compared to the stock Pirellis? I’ve just changed mine for the Diablo Supercorsa V4 but it’s been raining and I haven’t tried them yet; 2) are the police happy with all of these modifications?; 3) do you have circuits there in Norway? Have you ever drove it in circuit?; 4) how did you manage to drive it so much? I thought in Norway you couldn’t ride too much because of the weather; 5) I’ve also installed the Ducati spacers heat shield, but haven’t tried yet either, let’s see if the heat improves

      It's definitely modern or even futuristic but some people want elegant subtleness. This looks more like classic Ducatis like the 916 or 1098, and the smoothness may prove to be more timeless in 20 years. I'm not saying I like how this or that looks more... But the v2 is more streetable (low rev power and riding position) and cheaper, so I'm getting a v2. Plus, it's also like classic Ducatis in that it's the L twin

    Lol you thought you had a “better review” than those who reviewed it before you?
    Everything you mentioned has been already said. Furthermore certain mods you have made just didn’t do anything for the bike. The V2 looks better with the mirrors attached. The windscreen looks hideous. And let’s mention the clutch cover. You went red when you should have gone black. You have no taste.

      No not that my review is better, I just said that I have more experience on this bike than most journalists who ride these for some hours and then post it on CZcams. I dont really care about that you dont like the mods, so take your negative hate energy somewhere else please😁

      @@R1___ that’s the best you got?
      Some people just have horrible taste, like the creator. All I was saying, the V2 stock has no need for mods.

      @@juanzamora6228 I can understand that you like it stock, but that doesnt mean that everyone else should have the same taste as you do. Just be more respectful Juan thats all.
