made these with just 1/2 cup of sugar, they turned out great!!
Do you know how high the heat has to be?
We’re they chewy?
Ant K 350 Degrees for 8-10 minutes
@@legendlegend4660 they will be chewy since no flour is added. Flour makes the cake like because it rises.
I don’t know why people need to add so much sugar. what you added is a good amount
You are welcome! We are so happy you loved this recipe - thank you so much for letting us know!
Hi, Anne Fang - You may substitute confectioners' sugar for regular white sugar (confectioners' sugar is really ground white sugar) in this recipe, but increase the amount to 1-3/4 cup confectioners' sugar for every 1 cup of granulated sugar. Good luck!
Sure can! That sounds delicious - enjoy!
Thanks for your question, Kalie Crain. You may use brown sugar in place of white sugar in this recipe. The sweetness level will be the same, and also the doneness test, although the cookies may be a little darker. Some home cooks even prefer brown sugar for these cookies. Happy baking!
Yummmmmm......it was so delicious! Thanks 4 the recipe!

Thank you for your question. Yes, baking soda is essential in these cookies. This ingredient makes the cookies rise and come out the proper texture. Happy baking!
This fudge recipe is amazing. I honestly suck at cooking/baking. Recipe is perfect
Thank you very much, cookies came out wonderful the family fell in love with them
June 2016
AKA Judah
I made them with my children today. The receipt came out perfect the BEST I have had in YEARS!
Much Love
Hi, Fai B. - If you're reducing sugar in this recipe, we'd recommend starting by cutting 1/2 cup. Eliminating an entire cup will change the baking proportions for the other ingredients. Let us know how it works out.
Thank you for your question, Isabella. You can certainly make a double batch of these cookies! They freeze well. Enjoy!
Just tried it and they are good. Changes made were I used one cup of sugar(next time I will use 1/2 cup, 2 cups is way too much), Almond extract, no salt. they are very good. next time I will put almonds in them. Thanks.
Thank you for your question, Helen. Vanilla extract adds a wonderful flavor to baked goods, but is not necessary to make this recipe works. You can certainly leave it out - no worries!
I just made these! They are sooo good! I used honey roasted peanut butter and sprinkled toffee bits on a few of the cookies. Thanks for posting this SIMPLE recipe. I've been craving peanut butter cookies and did a batch a few days ago and they were HORRIBLE!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this recipe!!!
I've tried this with only 1/2 cup of sugar and it was delicious.great recipe, thanks.
Really? I'll try it too :)
+Nayla snowwhite yeah you dont need so much sugar
emmy snowwhite .
can you give me list of ingredient peanut butter cookies..
so sorry..
zar zareny ok no prob give me 10min
zar zareny well it's the same i just used one cup of sugar
2 cups peanut butter chunky or smooth.
1cup sugar
2eggs beaten,one by one
2tsp baking soda(i prefer using just1 tsp)
Pinch of salt.
1tsp vanilla extract.
Have a nice day.
Hi Erin, thanks for your question. Be sure to measure carefully and the halved version of this recipe will turn out just the same. We've provided a link to the recipe on our site in the video description box. From there you can change the serving size to meet your need. Enjoy :)
Made these for my daughter and we just loved it. I did only half of the recipe and I added one table spoon of butter and some flour just so that the cookie would have a little more harden consistency. It was just right for my palate. (not all palates would agree)
omg thanks for this AWESOME recipe me and my bff are making it and hopefully they turn out AWESOME!
Sure can! That would be delicious.
Hi catherine, thanks for your question. You can omit the vanilla extract if you prefer. We wouldn't recommend omitting the baking soda, but you can substitute every 1/2 teaspoon with 2 teaspoons of double-acting baking powder if you have that on hand. Enjoy :)
Thank you for your question. The weight of 1 cup of sugar will be different from the weight of 1 cup of peanut butter. 1 cup of sugar weighs about 200 grams. Because peanut butter is a lot heavier than sugar, 1 cup of peanut butter will weigh approximately 125 grams. Hope this answers your question. Happy baking!
Thanks for this I looked everywhere I don't have any of the cup measurements so didn't know how much to use and didn't want to use a regular cup cos it will all stick to it. Now I can measure this right into the bowl. Can't wait
I know this is many years since this clip but this is the very best Peanut butter cookies recipe of all the ones here on YT and VERY happy i found it... even better than the one on the Kraft Jar label - my first batch came out, perfect - thanks Ar
Absolutely, Dante! You can certainly make a smaller batch of these cookies. If you follow the link provided in the description part of the video, you can adjust the ingredient quantities automatically on our site. Happy baking!
If your allergic to peanut butter, don't do this recipe.
thanks capitan obvious
Demir Abazokov omg... You just saved my life..
Demir Abazokov dough not lie to me
Omg I’m gonna die I ate 5 🤢😂
thanks, i forgot i was allergic to peanuts lol
Good for you, Ding! Hope you are going to love these cookies - please let us know how they turn out for you.
Thank you for your question, Arlene! Yes, you can use a whisk or a wooden spoon instead of the electric mixer in this recipe. Enjoy the cookies :)
Hi Jenny, you do not have to make the fork marks, but its recommended to press the cookies down since the dough is dense. This will ensure they bake evenly :)
Omgggg I made these tonight and they were soooo bomb! The only thing I changed a bit was add 1 and a half cups of sugar instead of 2 😋😋
so great! I got introduced to Tasty Bakery in Ann Arbor because I was looking for a vegan treat for my daughter on her birthday. and, that bakery had to deliver since I live in CA! A variety of vegan treats are on their way to my daughter in Ann Arbor! The owner wanted to be sure we were satisfied first so he'll call after the delivery for payment! so great! my new fav place in Ann Arbor! thanks!
I tried this recipe and it turned our great! Thanks.
I made this a few weeks ago, and it came out SUPER sweet. I think 2 cups of sugar might be a little too much. I would try this recipe next time, but only using 1 1/2 cups of sugar and peanut butter might be good. But besides being too sweet, these cookies were actually pretty good!
Mae C just use like 1/2 cup of sugar I use half of sugar and it taste good.
OMG THESE LOOK SO GOOD!!! I just recently made some cookies (I also made a video on it) and it really makes me want to make them again!!
I juat made these my whole family enjoys them, thank yoi you for r the recipe 💓💓🤗🤗
Thanks all recipe.. I follow all the ingredients of your peanut butter cookies it turns so good and yummy...
You are welcome, Angela! So happy you had success with this recipe.
Tried today with jaggery powder. Turned out amazing! Ty
Just made these yesterday. They were delicious and I didn’t need any flour
Hi Adaora, these peanut butter cookies don't require flour! We hope you will give them a try and let us know what you think :)
Oh, i loved this recipe, the last cookies i made were really bad! But then i used this recipe and they came out amazing! Thank you, thank you and thank you!!!
Made these they're very good! Well done!
Thanks.... and I love your recipes :)
No worries. You can convert ingredients to metric measurements on our site. Enjoy!
Peanut butter does make the cookie, Daniel Hill. We recommend using a brand that's 100% ground peanuts without a lot of salt and preservatives added. It means reading labels, but you'll find one you like. Maybe in the natural foods section of our grocery store?
my peanut butter cookies get spread and they turn to huge shapes, they are not even soft and they get salty too. this was my second time baking this cookie and it resulted worse than the first time
all recipes, today I made peanut butter cookies again and it is perfect. thank you
The best peanut butter cookies I ever had were made by my brother who ground freshly roasted peanuts. The only ingredient in the peanut butter was the peanuts. For sugar he used mostly white granulated sugar but he substituted a little bit of brown sugar and some honey. He also added just a touch of nutmeg, a very small touch of nutmeg.

Turned out awesome 👌
I was cooking with my grand daughters so for fun added chocolate chips👍🏽
I read this book and in the back it had a peanut butter cookie recipe ...BEST.THING.EVER. 3 ingredients super easy when I would make them my 4 year old sis would make her own little batch .
Just made and they turned out delicious.
Perfect for babysitting my little bro today, he loves peanut butter and this is a great easy recipe
Seriously, why does anyone bother trying to 'perfect' the Peanut Butter Cookie??? It's always been 1c PB, 1/2 c sugar, 1 egg....BAM, perfect peanut butter cookies - no fru fru extracts or unnecessary steps... Yeesh!
Can I make this but with no eggs ?
+cutie101 cute no
No, the eggs are what holds the cookie together.
I should also say, these can be done at 325 for about 15 mins, maybe less - I like mine a little chewy, but if you prefer crunchy, bake a few minutes longer but keep an eye on 'em - nothing worse than black bottomed rock hard pb cookies.
You need something to bind them together. You can use egg whites alone but you will need the whites from three eggs for this recipe. Traditionally, eggs are the only binding agent used by bakers. But, there are two others that I have heard of but never used. One thing that might work is if you mix whole milk and corn starch together in a sauce pan and heat. stir it constantly until it gets fairly thick. Use by volume about the same amount. Sometimes this works as a binding agent but it will change texture and flavor. Another one that I have never used but I have heard some bakers have had some success is unflavored gelatin. But you have to do this much differently. For this you would mix the gelatin in, instead of the eggs but instead of cooking on baking sheets you would have to bake them in cup cake pans. Then you would have to put them in the fridge to chill. Don't take them out of the cup cake pans until they chill. These will also have a different texture and probably a different cooking time.
Angela Bell some like it not simple
Best video ever, i cooked my cookies with slight over amount of salt and vinella with some chocolate chip cookies and man its the best!!! As for the peanutbutter goes i used JIF extra crunchy
I used a little too much salt too...still 🔥🔥
I made them and they came out grate so thank you :):):)
This recipe looks so good I tried another peanut butter cookie but it didn't come out good but I'm definitely going to try this one they look so yummy thanks for the recipe:)
Thank you Stephanie! We certainly hope that you love these cookies - please follow up and let us know :)

Thank you. Making them now!
Thanks Alot very helpful 🌟✨
i will try i realy think it will be deliceiouse thanks i love peanutbutter cookies
annoying when they put the salt and vanilla in one tiny spot. It doesn't mix well.
right like what was the point of putting it in there
@@Kenzie07081 haha my comment was two years ago 😅
@@marcjtdc really haha
My thoughts exactly!
You sure can! Be sure to chill the cookie dough well before adding it to the press. Happy baking :)
Way too much sugar in those!
You come to a recipe for a dessert and say there's too much sugar? Why even bother watching then?
@@laleczkowa you failed to see her point and just look like an ass now.
Pepper Brooks I know right
What ever happens just remember " Trump 💪 💯 is the Man 2020.M.A.G.A ...Thank you ..That is all

Made these with 1 cup of light brown sugar, 1/4th vegetable shortening or butter, a table spoon of vanilla extract, and a teaspoon of nutmeg and they are so much more flavourful and soft, cooked at 350 degrees for 10 mins, if the dough is too wet, scoop it onto a baking tray and use wet(not dripping wet) hands to press down and slightly shape the cookies
I did everything you said except use brown sugar because i didnt have it and their so good.I've tried other recipes and the cookies tasted like diet cookies.
❤️❤️perfect!❤️❤️
Going to make these today!
Amazing recipe here!
Can u mix it by hand if udonot have d eltronic better
Hi Dina, this recipe makes 3 dozen cookies. You could use about 1/2 cup more of peanut butter if you prefer!
Javier, thank you for your question. You could use baking powder instead of baking soda. Baking powder has salt added to it, so you'd want to cut down on the salt in this recipe. Also, you would want to double the amount of baking powder. Happy baking!
This is a nice recipe I used it today and they turned out great but I went free hand on the baking soda and salt haha and used Wal-mart's brand of peanut butter and peter pan I think and it was delicious. I think it's important to refrigerate the dough for an hour though before prepping them for the oven. Just a heads up!
Easiest recipe that really, really tastes amazing 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😘
Thanks for your questions. Leaveners - such as baking soda and baking powder are critical for making cakes and cookies rise. If you don't have baking soda, the general rule of thumb is that you can substitute it for 3 times the baking powder. Hope that helps!
You can do this by hand as well!
I love it
Super easy and yummy!
me and my grandma are gonna make these cookies they BETTER BE GOOD!!!
Delicious question, Rainbow Crafter! But Nutella has a lot more sugar in it than peanut butter, so using it for these cookies isn't going to be successful unless you cut back on the amount used, plus add flour to hold the ingredients together. You will have to experiment to get the right proportions. Here's a recipe that uses Nutella and cocoa that may give you ideas for amounts to use: allrecipes.com/Recipe/Nutella-Hazelnut-Cookies/Detail.aspx
+Allrecipes You should try it with Aloha Spreads peanut butter! That's my favorite peanut butter of all time!!
I love peter pan
Hi ken, are you looking for this in weight?
Thank you
This was a quick and yummy recipe to follow made a batch in less then 20 min!
Thanks for your feedback PopusJuice! We're glad you were able to whip up a batch of these cookies :)
Looks sooooooooooo good
These are a perfect treat for a bake sale.
Hi Sarah, thanks for your feedback! Try out our video recipes for Peanut Butter Cup Cookies or Buckeye Cookies. If you check our site we have an awesome recipe for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups! Enjoy :)
Uhhhh....it is so delicious.
Can I cut all the ingredients in half to make half the amount of cookies. I only like peanut butter my husband doesn't.
Yes, of course, clown423. You might also make the full amount and freeze the dough you don't want to bake to use later. Lots of options.
Love the music!
i will try it but do you need to b
put the brown thing the vanilla thing
Awesome
I wonder if I can use anything else to substitute for all that sugar. Since I love to use honey or agave. But to avoid the flour. What could I use ?
You may substitute honey, agave or stevia for the granulated sugar, badillaboy, but add anything in small amounts to reach the level of sweetness you prefer. Honey, especially, is a lot sweeter than sugar. If you want to avoid wheat flour, look for a commercial gluten-free blend, or make your own using a mix of rice, barley or oat flours.
Hi Deb, so sorry this recipe didn't turn out well for you. Did you stir the peanut butter prior to measuring? Sometimes naturally occurring oil can build up toward the top, causing excess liquid. Also, be sure to cool them slightly on the pan before removing them to the cooling rack. Perhaps give this one another try!
it's awesome
I baked them earlier with 1/2 cup of sugar for 1 cup of unsweetened peanut butter with a little bit of honey and maybe 2 full spoons of regular peanut butter with sugar and salt, it was already way too sweet for my taste. If you are gonna try this, know that the amount of sugar they ask gonna make your cookiers extremely sweet. I live in a very hot country so as my dough was a little liquid I also added about 1 spoon of all purpose flour and about 2 spoons of peanut flour. Although I changed the recipe mines were very delicious and everybody liked them. Make small balls...big ones gonna make them break easily. Thanks for the recipe.
So very delicious that I like 👍
Thanks you
thank you
These cookies are amazing! They are truely delicious. I recomend that you try these.
With 2 cups of sugar plus what's in the PB of course it taste good
Can you put them to a cookie press? Love it!
I love making peanut butter cookies. I used Splenda and Skippy peanut butter reduced fat.
