I have been looking for a pattern to challenge my skills, and this is it. I am purchasing the pattern and using my own fabrics. I have already practiced your 8-point stars and they are fun to make. I can't wait to get started. It may take me a while but it will be so worth the time. Thank you for making this possible with all of your excellent instructions. You are my favorite by far because your quilts are absolutely gorgeous. Wish me luck :)

I have the seamstress line in half yards is this enough of each color for the quilt? I know I need the neutrals, pattern and background. Can I buy those separately?

When is the final show on putting together and show final quilt like you promised
I can't imagine working so hard on a beautiful quilt and then fusing raw edge applique to it. IMO raw edge is for seasonal wall hangings but not for quilts that are going to be washed.
If you watch edyta’s videos, buy any of her patterns or any of her many beautiful books , you would know that she includes detailed instructions for finishing any appliqué. From a finished edge , to a turned edge , to a raw edge appliqué she explained each one. We in the quilting world are so lucky to have such a gifted and generous teacher. I look forward daily to texts and videos from laundry basket quilts. Thank you edyta. 💕
