I'm sorry that I missed this BOM; but I am doing the mystery Quilt :) . I will follow along, and purchase the instructions as they come out, and the 1/2yd Seamstress bundle when it becomes available. Will the 1/2yd bundle be enough, and will it have all the necessary backgrounds, or do I need to purchase additional background, I know I will need fabric for the borders and backing. Will you (or have you) be listing the fabric requirments or have them listed in a previous posting? Much appreciated. Looking forward to sewing along :)

I just received my pre-cut. I noticed on the second basket of two it called for (2) 4 7/8 HST but the cut was 4 5/8.

I had the same problem. Called them and we're not alone. They said they"ll send in next months kit.

I am thrilled my pre-cut kit arrived on Mondaay!! Your video is so energizing!! I have never worked with pre-cut pieces before and I am wondering whether I should starch or prep the fabric prior to sewing? Thank you for such a beautiful project!
I definitely would not do anything but sew these pieces together since they are cut and ready to sew. If you starch or do anything to them they will not fit together.

Help! Can’t figure out where I went wrong. My row of stars measured 4 1/2 x 17 1/2. If I were to trim any thing I’d cut off my points. Does she have a blog for this BOM?

@@laundrybasketquilts Wow. The pattern for this quilt will be outrageously expensive if we have to purchase a $9.95 pattern for each block in the quilt.
I went to Laundry Basket Quilts and was unable to sign up for the BOM club and ordering the monthly kits. I read that the fabric would not be available until later this year. The only thing I could find was the pattern. How is everyone ordering the monthly kits? I could not find a link.
Has anyone discovered a problem with basket two in the direction to press the half square triangles so they nest together when sewing rows together? If you press all in one direction it does not work!

It’s unfortunate that you get exactly enough fabric and if you make any mistakes you are going to be hurting or spending more money to get extra fabric. It would be nice if they added a few extra pieces or a few extra inches of fabric.
Hi Angela, I purchased the precut BOM but as soon as the precut layer cakes arrive I’m going to order one to provide me some fabrics for when I make a mistake. To me it is such a luxury to have my pieces ready to go I’m good with doing this. The other choice would be for the next sew along you could choose the uncut choice then you would have some fabric left over. Hope this helps you. Just join BOMs at Fat Quarter Shop, they always are generous with the fabric in their kits and BOM projects. I never ran out of fabric when ordering from their site.

@@maryackermann I have purchased many Laundry Baskets patterns and fabric, I absolutely love all of it. But sadly I have to draw the line at paying $10 for a pattern for each block! I'm very disappointed and I am considering not ordering from them anymore because of it.
@@mismike23 I totally agree with you. If I participate in a SAL I always buy the designer’s fabric to give back to them. I already paid € 250 for Edyta’s seamstress fabric, but I consider charging this amount of money for a pattern quite greedy. Usually the pattern is designed to promote a line of fabric, and for elaborate patterns I even consider $ 25 to be okay, but this? It is ridiculous.

Hi Linda shipping is so crazy with this Pandemic, I’m feeling so blessed this wasn’t pushed back due to it. Thank goodness we live in the USA. Hopefully it will arrive soon as I want to order some of it.
