    Knowing this video is here makes me a whole lot more confident for when i finally make the push out of RTF kits. I'm not sure how someone is supposed to figure all that out without some kind of tutorial to begin with... Alas, too many other things to spend money on for now though (including saving up for my own jeep), so I'll just have to be happy with my little kit for now. At least I'm flying! :)

    Steve:
    THIS was an OUTSTANDING beginner video!!! Great photography, focus, audio, clarity of your voice, screen overlays to clearly demonstrate WHERE the controls you were explaining are located. THANK GOD FOR THE PAUSE BUTTON! It was needed, but the information is there for us to repeat, repeat, repeat until we have achieved what you have shown us. THANK YOU!
    I'm using this video to guide me through my older Jumper T-Lite, since it is much better and absolutely up to date for my Jumper T-Lite.

    Features of the ExpressLRS module can be fully exploited by changing OpenTX to EdgeTX but that's not a topic for this video.

    Незалежно від рівня вашого досвіду використання дронів, це відео може бути корисним джерелом інформації. Його ясна та зрозуміла презентація допоможе вам в освоєнні Jumper T-PRO та його налаштуванні.

    Xm+ sucks! I would never tell anybody to get xm+ due to the close proximity failsafe. You can't arm with your radio too close or fly close to yourself indoors with small ducted whoops. I hate doing benchwork that requires the radio be connected with xm+. Ever had to check motor direction with your toe? I would also say that elrs is super easy too. Not as user friendly as frsky, but not too hard and well worth it when your comparing the performance/price ratio.

    • @bitterrootfpv2207

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Před 2 lety +2

      I've seen people use them as pairs (i.e., press both at once to set off a command). Other than ON/OFF temporary switches on a quad (lights on, lights off, or some external add on), I'm not sure what I'd use them for.

    • @Deserthacker
      @Deserthacker Před 2 lety +1

    If you're brand new to RC and don't have a transmitter yet, I could see the appeal of this, but man this thing looks cheap. I think RadioMaster is ultimately going to win in this gamepad style matchup.

    • @DougEfresh.
      @DougEfresh. Před 2 lety +1

      I think the regular Jumper T Lite made alot of headway and this is going to be a step above especially in a month or so when they install the express elrs as part of the internal source instead of having it be external. It's going to be a game changer I think and I know from my Jumper T Lite that it doesn't feel cheap and I'm sure this one will feel even better. No way will this lose to radiomaster.

    Hello
    I need help with charging of the transmitter. On its top there is a USB C port where I am suppose to plug a USB C cable and the charging should be on by default. But what's happening
    - As soon as I connect the charger, The transmitter Power button light and LCD light comes on and goes out within a second. That's it. No indication or display for charging.
    - I have to keep the transmitter ON and then keep it connected to the USB C charging cable "imagining" that it gets charge only when is ON. But still no charging indication is there. Since the Tx is ON it starts beeping after few minutes. Have to keep stick moving frequently.
    What is the standard protocol for charging Jumper T pro?

      Normally NO, only one receive is connected at anyone time so that you don’t accidentally fly your friends drone unexpectedly . However with some receivers (cheap 3rd party ones) they get sloppy and can connect to a signal so more than one is in use

      Depending on the version of receiver (what type of flysky receiver is in your car... is it a unit that has a bind button or can be put into bind mode) it would most likely work because Flysky is one of the most common receivers on the planet and many radios work with it.

      ELRS is always only ELRS, so if what you are attempting to bind to is not ELRS then it will never bind. You sound very new to the RC hobby which means that even if you purchased the 4-in-1 version you’d still have difficulty binding the radio to your drone. What I mean is that you need to do research on how to setup a model in the radio, as well you need to know what receiver is in your drone & how to bind to it, and then how to use BETAFLIGHT for configuration.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Před 2 lety +1

      All is well with your radio. ELRS binding requires that the receiver and radio are on the same firmware. I assume you have an ELRS module attached to the rear of your T-PRO. R9M... never tried it. But binding to receivers other than ELRS is usually much simpler as the firmwares do not need to match. Your must be new at this which can be daunting for beginners.

    Still not true most of the small drones come configured as D8 which would mean that in betaflight they would need to change to D instead of X. Cmon be more specific when you do these video.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Před 2 lety +3

      Under FRSKY, if one has an EMAX drone, then D8 is common, but if the person watching follows my advice and gets an FRSKY XM+ as was specifically shown in the video, hence the D16, then all is well. The problem with beginner videos is that everyone just over complicates them, hence why all I've shown are the essentials for the gear spoken about.
