Number One has to be Aljo catching Yan's knee with his head. Would've never won without that clever adjustment!
It’s been only 4 hours since this comment. I’m here to watch it age.
Quality comment fair play 😂😂😂😂
lol
You’re not wrong sir.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
GSP's coach was first to recognize that Bisping always reacts slow to shots coming from the right. Unknown to the world then that the Count fought without his right eye.
Makes sense. Eye issues aren't uncommon in the boxing world Roach comes from.
The reason is because Bisping spent a camp with Firas, not because he noticed it. He knew from Mike's mouth that he only had one eye.
Stop spreading false info.
Luke Rockhold told that he'd knock Bisping's eye straight.
Also this: "I know that you cant see straight but you can't think straight either."
Go back to videos from 7 years ago where people in the comment section point out Bisping's weird eye (Eg. Jon Jones hit and run)
Bisping's blinded eye was common knowledge.
@@kiranbabu3426 Bispings own words, Firas knew about the eye because he'd spent a camp there. He said himself.
@@kiranbabu3426 yeah sure buddy, everyone knew he was blind in one eye and yet the athletic commissions would let him fight anyway. Do you even know how athletic commissions work?? A lazy eye and a blind eye ain't the same thing. Learn some more about the sport than just reading cooments on youtube videos from 7 years ago. Casual.
You’ll notice that many of the fighters on this list are champions/former champions. Which supports 2 arguments:
1 - It takes a good team to reach the top.
2 - Champion level fighters are guys that are smart enough to listen to and trust their corner.
3. This channel caters to casuals- like me ;)
@@AnonYmous-ob7py chill
I mean, yeah. Not really an argument, but a well known fact..
So not Marvin thinking he beat adesanya?
Agreed, but I would also add:
3 - Champion level fighters have the technical ability and willingness to implement a game plan effectively
Askren making the adjustments to fall over for a few million while boxing
I’d make that adjustment too no 🧢
Thus becoming richer than 95% of UFC fighters
Only casuals think it was rigged
😆😆😆lengendary
@@orbybosch9160 No i do not think it was rigged, but what hes trying to say was getting KOd for a few million is not so bad
Being a head coach is one of the crucial roles in MMA and doesn’t get enough credit.
Exactly.
Tell latory gonzalez that i appreciate her
Which is why everyone hated when Fabia got into Diego’s head
@@walkermco1 *pants
Diego Fabia and Edmond Traverdyan are such great coaches
Tony Ferguson: Hold my cornermen
Bisping making the adjustments to fight while blind in one eye that could make a list. Top 100 maybe.
Isn't top 10 better then top 100?
As badass as Bispings one-eyed fights were they don’t really apply to this list
Hows tht an adjustment idiot its jus getting ur eye kicked out
Maybe top 1000 I’d say
Bisping is the man
BEFORE WATCHING: Stipe going to the body in their 2nd fight was one of the best adjustments ever
Hell ya that was so bad ass to watch as well
as soon as I saw the title of the video I clicked it and waited to see if they put stipe at #1 bcs that was fckng legendary
@@danieldimino4622 You watched the tide slowly turn throughout the whole fight. Stipe got stronger with every round and dominated the championship round, was an epic return win for the champ. Honestly it’s one of my favorite fights ever.
@Ji H you okay? Looks like you had a seizure while typing. And commenting on a 2 month old post? Get a life kid
No it wasnt it was an obvious weakness of Cormiers even before the first fight... it was actually poor gameplanning to not use it earlier. Its like calling a late change to lowkicking nate diaz a great adaption... its just part of the blueprint for beating him from the jump.
GSP on Rogan's podcast said he tested the frame rate reaction time of the fighters he was going to fight and BJ had the fastest reaction time of everyone they checked at that time.
Machida was 2nd
Also a slow reset time, which GSP used to his advantage
What an insane fact
@@saunajoe5973 but machida never fought GSP? So how they find that out?
Link?
Glad Stipe got the #1! I'll never forget seeing that first shot make DC wince and screaming at the TV to keep attacking the body and Stipe did! One of many favorite memories in MMA
Thank you for giving that background truly made the moment more legendary
so glad to see #1 was actually #1, those body hooks miocic laid on cormier changed the fight in like 90 seconds...sh!t was night-and-day. lol, ultimately _nobody_ is gonna want to get into a clinch, or try to combo-with somebody who is trying very hard to wreck your liver via bludgeoning.
Aljo sitting on his knees against petr
Damn
Ahahaha
Chris Weidman got up faster than Aljo
Cheatr petr threw an illegal knee
@@SuperBlueMoonWA It was just a joke mate. I know
"You're a champion because your jab" my favorite corner quote in mma
All the best champions need a good jab. And decent/ excellent grappling
Before watching cejudo comes to mind in his fight against Mighty Mouse and Moraes
Fr, I haven’t watched yet but wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t even on here. Cejudo is one of the best of all time and does not get enough recognition for it.
Word of the day, what comes to mind is ….
Absolutely !! That Moraes fight was something else, he was getting bullied & within a round & half became the bully lol
@@shmoofgang bro, he has that dying will that you rarely see in fighters. I love it
Burns getting jabbed to death in Round 2 by Usman after rocking him in Round 1 still brings me to tears.

Stipe's bodyshots on DC is the most recent that comes to mind
I could feel those body shots all the way from Britain
@@joecosgrave8362 Yes mate. Fellow Brit, Welsh lad here 🤙
twice. mid fight twice he stumbled onto body shots
@@BigBoshV it really says a lot about his corner that that wasn't the gameplan going into the fight. It's long been known that dc struggles with bodyshots an the handfighting will stop stipe jab which is his best punch. With a better corner stipe would still be champ. A really good example of mid-fight adjustments is Volko vs holloway 2
DC is one tough sob cause I had to wear a diaper for a month just from watching it. The main vulnerability to the Mummy style as Ali called it or the cross guard is the liver shot but it leaves you its dangerous to just throw it like Chuck vs Rampage. It does seem like Stipe was baiting him and that's why DC kept taking them looking for Stipes chin with that right hand when his left was going to the body. High risk high reward. I dont like to sound like I'm 2nd guessing any of those guys but I believe I might have regrouped had I been DC seeing as he was up 3 rounds most likely and defending champ coming off a ko of Stipe and a choke out of Lewis? Even a fraction slower and you get blasted.
Stipe Miocic vs Daniel Cormier 2 immediately came into my mind
“To take on a much larger and a primed Michael Bisping”
Haha yeah I laughed too
Sus
Can someone explain? English isn't my first language
Blind?
Terribly written video tbh, the only enjoyable parts is mma on point extras and tth.
“Ten Best Mid-fight Adjustments in UFC history”
Number 10: Fight that wasn’t even in the UFC
this channel is garbage
@@Sakattack2023 during the Oliviera Chandler ppv fight companion Goddard exposed them all as "armchair quarterbacks" guilty of spreading "dangerous, misleading misinformation" that "could get them hurt" regarding their martial arts experience, or lack thereof. His words not mine
@@itsSoaren lmao Marc Goddard himself got people hurt much more than any video of these guys. And he's the professional referee
@@itsSoaren I get that they are arm chair quarterbacks to the fullest extent, but how exactly are they “dangerous”?. All they do is silly list and ranking videos it is not like they are out their spreading misinformation about self defense. At the end of the day Marc Goddard is damn near middle age he is not sitting in his house watching some CZcams channel.

Stipe Vs DC 2
Maurice Smith Vs Mark Coleman come to mind when thinking about excellent Adjustments in mma for me
Alvarez vs Gaethje as well
havent been this early since chael dominated jonny "broken bones" jones
Careful this channel worships Jones.
@@biggingeryeti Their worship means nothing against Chael P Sonnen, the GOAT!
@@biggingeryeti not a clue why you think that. Ive seen this channel and viewers shit on Jones.
@@AnonYmous-ob7py I dunno, maybe going 'Poor Jon Jones' after he almost killed a pregnant woman in a hit and run, only going back to grab the cash he left behind. Yeah poor Jon Jones.
@@biggingeryeti We've got a hypocrite here
Stipe vs dc 2 better be on this list
Not only its on the list, it is also number 1 pick 😉👍🏻
Do top 10 clear win oportunities lost in UFC, like Nate Diaz who could have finished against Leon Edwards yesterday
Impossible to say really, hard to know what would’ve happened if Diaz had just rushed in immediately
@@Ianthecuckgary I get what you are saying but Leon was out on his feet immediately after the slap combo. 90 percent sure Diaz could have finished him. Would have been a great comeback fight.
@@mrdumbfellow927 probably one of the best I agree and what a return if he had!
This is my favourite video on the channel. Love showcases of high fight IQ and game planning. Please make a part 2, or something similar.
Stipe getting beat for 4 rounds by DC then hammering away at the body he to be in the top 3
It wasn't 4 rounds like people say
DC only won first 2 rounds , stipe won the 3rd and 4th we all know what happened.
Greatest adjustment nonetheless
He wasn’t getting beaten for 4 rounds lol, it was pretty competitive
@@theholysandwich1 search for scorecards fanboy
Jones vs machida comes to mind
Beautiful
Scary strong in cage IQ
Jones vs Machida/Gustafsson 1
@@jayluis189 I don't think there's anything Jons corner did special in the gustafson fight. More so Jons ability as a champion and experience
Jon would leg kick-then machida would blitz forward to catch Jones off balance. Jon fakes leg kick to punch aka super man punch to counter then choked machida out. A masterpiece
No body in MMA history adapted better than GSP. In his career he over came so much adversity in fights. Truly the goat of the UFC!
“I’m not impressed by Bisping’s adaptability”
And even when he lost, he made the adjustments to never oose to that person again.
His corner can take some of the props for that. Zahabi and Danaher are 2 of the greatest minds in MMA
Do a list of fighters who were never the same after one brutal fight
There’s a sparring clip from dc and Cain in which it shows Cain favoring that same left body hook on dc and landing it
No wonder DC said Cain always beat his ass in sparring
So I am fundamentally ignorant of fighting techniques so enjoy this breakdown thank you
1:01 had me creasing. Looks like you're stacked mate. That chair and shirt colour blend into each other so well
Ponzinibbio v Baeza from last weekend was a banger and def required mid fight adjustments
Edit: Cejudo vs Moraes is another all timer. Forgot about it, then it all came back. Great night, long live the King of Cringe
The fact that Volkanovski's adjustments against Holloway's own adjustments in their second fight isn't on this list is criminal
Close, controversial result kind of puts a dent in that narrative though. Even though Volk arguably did enough to earn the nod in the eyes of the judges, it wasn't a clear cut decisive victory. Till this day fans still bicker over the result, especially Max fans who scream robbery and refuse to give Volk his props for making a fight with Holloway (one of the greatest Featherweights of all time) competitive. That fight is a very good reason why 10-10 rounds should be normal scoring criteria, thereby making the fight a draw.
Personally i think they did the right job because judging should be in favour or even slight bias of the champion, it just makes more sense that the champ has to be beaten convincingly. Can you imagine if reyes or thiago took the title of jon jones ? He would have lost a title he’s had for about 10 years to dudes who both lost their next bouts easily
@@aqibfreed4672 I don't agree with the idea that closely contested rounds should automatically go to the champion, its bullshit and unfair. It creates 'robbery' arguments which will never stop until they're resolved.
The "To be the champ, you have to beat the champ" sentiment is very misunderstood. Its actual and primary meaning is that in the event a fight is a draw, the champ retains their belt. Just because the champ wins rounds 4 and 5 despite losing the first three, doesn't mean they win the fight if we're going by the 10 point scoring system.
Jones did win the fight against Santos, albeit barely. The Reyes fight is either a draw for Jones at best or a clear win for Reyes. In any case, Jones should not have won the Reyes fight.
@@aqibfreed4672 Nah, I can't sign off on that. If anything, we need to change that sentiment to "If you're going to be the champ, then be the champ," which is to say: if youre gonna be the so called best, its up to YOU as the champ to eliminate doubt about who's the best. Which admittedly, isn't really fair or scientific, but its no less dumb than the "beat the champ to be the champ" nonsense. How about we just tally up the scores at the end and see who wins?
@@aqibfreed4672 Judging shouldn't do that. That's ridiculous, and certainly not written anywhere. Volk barely edged out the last three rounds and deserved the win, despite clearly losing via Pride rules. He landed just as hard shots as Max and considerably more in the most disputed round, but people haven't bothered rewatching it.

GSP vs Bisping was a wonderful fight. The back and forth momentum was captivating!
In UFC history
First one is DJ versus Yuya in ONE FC
What?
DJ is basically a UFC fighter still. They traded for Askren who isn't a thing anymore, DJ still getting that Daddy Dana check
Title says mma history?

The Cejudo/Moraes adjustment was pretty fire, though. I remember seeing it live, and I wasn't exactly a Cejudo fan at the time, but that was high level fight IQ and a great adjustment that convinced me he was for sure the real deal.
Overeems adjustment vs Augusto Sakai was another good one he was getting outclassed on the feet decided to start taking him down and got the tko

Great topic and well done video.
This is a great concept for a video. One of y’all’s best.
Great video as always
The commentary and editing on these videos is phenomenal 👌
You guys are so creative never fail to impress me keep it coming !
Very well prepared and executed video
Dude this pixel fairy beat is fire. I can't focus because I keep spitting. Your voice keeps perfect rhythm too
Stipe IQ is on another level.
He unfortunately left that at home at the second ngannou fight.
Editing looks on f’in points guys! Great vid!
Great video guys keep it up
GSP has to be the GOAT of MMA. Faced tons of legendary names, beat them all in their primes, and did so in unthinkable ways. Outgrappled BJ Penn, beat Bisping with counters, and beat Matt Hughes with dominant wrestling. Absolute ultra chad.
1:13 - We'll look at the 10 best Mid-Fight Adjustment in UFC history.
Starts with no. 10 - DJ Vs Yuya Wakamatsu, which happened in ONE FC and not UFC.
Obviously an error, but a pretty silly one.👍
Stipe versus dc 2 has to b on here before I start watching.
Switching up 2 those body shots and then getting the tko, it was amazing to watch
The time I changed from relying on my jabs to taking down usman and setting up the headkick should be number 1
#1 on the list opposite to this one is Marvin Vittori refusing to listen to his coach in the Izzy fight.
I Love The Stipe One So Much Not Just Because Of The Adjustment But Because It Was In My City, Anaheim.
i did not know that about gsp's matchup with bisping!!! it was a sick combo
Another ON POINT list
"You're a champion because of your jab" what a quote and what coach
Jones made the adjustment when USADA showed up by hiding underneath the ring.
Dillashaw made the adjustments in his Garbrandt fights by using EPO.
Jones can't even make adjustments against himself lmao
That fight between dc and stipe the second one was awesome wow 👌 gsp vs bisping what a great fight enjoyed it so much gsp showed how good his technique was and smarts his takw down ability is amazing also it seemed like his power in his hands increased
I got goosebumps watching the Stipe part
Gsp vs penn was absolute fireworks😤 hands down one of my favorite fights
it was an underrated war. same goes to Gaethje vs Alvarez, Poirier vs TKZ, Johnson vs Ferguson
Just watched this video, cool video, and I love the warrior (tv show) nod!
Superb editing!!!!
Nice editing!
Props to you this the fifth post this week nice
i think we need to appreciate the fact that Bisping faught the last portion of his career with only one eye
Jon anik screaming : STIPE EXACTS HIS REVENGE
MIOCIC IS GETTING THE BELT BACK
still gives me chills
Stipe's polka dance was pretty cool as well.
I must have been living under a rock.... BAYLIUN-san??!! Some prestige up in here!
That Miocic vs Cormier 2 adjustment is one of my favorite martial arts clips of all time. I'll never forget seeing that first hard dig to the liver, seeing DC's face scrunch up in pain and thinking "holy shit, do that again!". If I recall correctly it was 14 shots to the liver in about 1 and a half minutes. You could physically see the fight fade from DC with each strike. Just an absolutely perfect adjustment, flawless execution and a brutal finish. Definitly deserving of that #1 spot on the list.
Good job with editing Luke Taylor
If this was made today, Aldo vs Font would be a perfect one for the leg kicks
This channel is the 🐐
God DAMN this is such a good video!
Baaaayyyyyliun the goat narrator

Stipes is my favourite, absolute beast

Still get goosebumps watching that 4th round of miocic vs dc 2
Cormier v Miocic 2 was actually the fight that got me into mma, it was on my birthday
Please do a video ranking the best in ring championship celebrations from fighters. I’m not exactly sure how to word it but the happiest champions.
Stipe's adjusting to using body shots against Cormier was epic
You guys could've included either DC Jones fights as both were great examples but I'm glad y'all chose the first cos if everything that went wrong after the second.
Stipe, cormier was definitely the best adjustment ever!
stipes bodyshots were a counter to cormiers mummy guard. with dc's hands extended in the mummy gaurd his body was exposed

I agree with the placement of number 1, that was the most obvious adjustment I'd ever seen, he came out fighting like a totally different person and Cormier couldn't do anything about it, it was crazy to witness.
During Jones v Cormier 1 there was also John Annick throwing as seen @1:31
I pictured the #1 spot when I read the description so yeah good choice 👌
GSP's understanding of the basics never fails to impress me. Even in the ugliest fights he makes adjustments with basic tools and guts just to look for his chance to dominate again. Thats what makes him a world champion
