They didnt even come close to the original bf2, all they needed to do was basically remake it and add more characters and more quality of life aspects. But no we got a bowling ball with wires....

Game still sucks, the gimmick is washed up and the heroes are slidy, how does the revenge of the sith game that came out when I was a child have better dueling in it than a modern title? Lazy games should just be put down, updating the game after it was released barebones is part of the problem.

Man, my game just had everything unlocked for some reason, but only in like arcade and stuff, the profile itself didnt have anything. It wasnt just like the heroes either, it was also like fully levelled star cards of every character with all the equipment, etc.

When they made it free on epic games I absolutely loved the game, not because I got everything the game had, but because of the awesome rounds, now with barely anyone playing and my friends leaving its just using up storage. On my old Chad laptop

It's more likely that the devs/EA got sued for the whole lootbox catastrophe that happened _because_ of Battlefront 2, so they were forced to change everything out of legal obligation. And these changes accidentally made the game really really good

As someone who played at launch, and gradually grew to love the game- I'm beyond sad that they decided to completely abandon it. It still feel unfinished in a lot of areas (like Imperial Era supremacy), and that the vision wasn't actually complete.

Omg it was crazy at launch! I pre-ordered that thang!Heroes vs Villians were so imbalanced. Took forever to level any hero up and was just chaos but i was very happy when they changed it all around for the better! I hope BF3 is much better
@@chiefsprinkles SAME. I got the BF2 Edition PS4 Pro, and was miffed I couldn't transfer my skins from PS4 to PC. I felt special for having the Preorder skins even though I only used pre-order Kylo. But that game was still amazingly fun, despite the initial issues.

I remember I had the game in launch and it was okay, what sucked is at the time Thanksgiving Week came by I broke my freaking arm and I couldn't even play BF2, but I'm glad I kinda waited for the Clone Wars era updates in 2018 and 2019.
Battlefront 2 was making a comeback and at its peak. Then EA was like "Shut it down cause we wont make money off of it." Not unless you market the new stuff properly.

Good philosophy
The worst thing was that Heroes costed credits and a lot of players like me at launch just wanted to unlock everyone before moving on to unlocking other things. I sat there and unlocked the most expensive heroes just for them to announce that they were giving them for free, then I got no compensation or anything. I just had to deal with the loss of credits.

Give up your life grinding away for thousands of hours for literally nothing. Drain your bank account dry to pay to play or give up gaming. Gamers will buy the biggest buggy game and still be charged for skins and defend the fuck out of that shit and it is absolutely hilarious. I remember playing the original Battlefront 2 on PC. Had such a large community that stayed strong for years. So much fun playing multi-player and being able to select Extended Universe characters. Even had Old Republic era characters like Revam and the like. Good times.

I had to unlock almost everything myself over the years. I bought the game for my friend this year when it was on sale for like $10. The look on my face when he told me that everything was unlocked, including every “skin”. I still haven’t even unlocked leias and hans outfits yet 🫠.

Rather buy a hundred games over a span of five years for 1000 dollars than to spend 150 dollars for one game

Since they also added the star cards, no. How good specific classes and heroes are was directly tied to either money spent or hours played. And being able to play a hero in any of the standard modes was rare.

Ive been playing Jedi Fallen Order and oddly enough for an EA game they actually didn't miss. Game is really fun and not some p2w junky mess. You can enjoy it without putting too many hours in either.

@@kintama3453 The only games that EA actually make are their sports titles. Everything else they just the publish from the several developers that they own but they're still EA games. Jedi Survivor, Mass Effect, Need for Speed, The Sims, and the F1 games are all made by different companies that EA owns but EA gets the credit because they fund everything. Respawn is EA.
