Wow! Can’t believe it’s been 10 years already. I’m in my early 20’s now, but I remember listening to this while feeling lonely. This music gave me a lot of comfort, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for BoC.

A lot of negative comments recently. Wyrm is a genius making this, he has preserved the original nostalgic feel whilst adding a moving forward feel. It's more hopeful with love for the past but knowledge of a need to move on; in my opinion anyway.

depression is a perspective and value changing state, when you get out of it, and I hope you do, life will seem altered somehow. in a way really it's you that will change, and to some degree your awareness too
+okhstorm depression, if we're talking about the same thing, depression IS a proven clinical condition though. Some things aren't really just about external conditions and perspectives.Chemicals do fuck up our insides, don't they?
+Ruthwik Rao yeah it is a number of conditions under the umbrella term 'depression' , from what I've read some depressions are due to overactivity of brain parts others are due to lowered activity and these respond to different drugs. most people aren't diagnosed neurologically I.e. brain scan, most people are diagnosed by dialogue with a general practitioner. they only spend one semester on the topic of depression apparently unless they specialise. I think a lot of depressions are triggered due to life events/environmental factors rather than purely biological, but it's just an assumption. I think in the future our understanding will be much better though and there is a long way to go still.
okhstorm I agree with you but you misunderstood my sentiment I believe. Rather I didn't explain my comment properly. I was referring as to how external factors may not always be a viable cure for depression, not about causes of depression. I agree that a lot of external factors DO cause depression, but depression, to them medicated with it isn't a phase or a *state of mind* like many think is what I wanted to say.
I've heard many people say "oh you've got depression? Well, just... stop being depressed. Like.. Smile a lo, go out for a walk." XD
Not that I'm depressed or even slightly medicated for it, just that people don't understand certain conditions even though their intentions are in the right place. It isn't that simple, I guess. :)

didn't know the youtube compression had this level of depth when it comes to audio, noticing it was uploaded back in 2012.
New songs here that are uploaded do not usually have this level of bass to them I feel. But man, this particular video/song got my head vibrating.

i used to walk to a pavalion on a hill when i used to live in a 18 month department of corrections rehab. The sun would set and i would look out at the treeline and think of when my life would be different. Since then ive gone through depression which taught me how important the moment is... Its crazy how music can make you feel and whoever is going through something im sorry and it will get better i promise.
First listened to this as the sun was setting as I camped on top of a mountain in BC. Fire was burning, stars were coming out and tranquility and peace was setting in. This song always transports me back to that place.

Heard this track(this album)while working in Northern California as a Type 1 Wildland Firefighter SRB Crew boss trainee, nightshift. The crew was holding line as we burned out this road right in the middle of a evening thermal inversion. We could see stars overhead to the East through the thinner higher elevation smoke veil yet you couldn’t see anything else. We were we’re all rotating into the crummy for 20-30 minutes to get “fresh” air😂 this song made the whole experience mystical.
I remember when I first listened to this so so long ago when sheepy posted it, I recently noticed the piano melody in a Thai BL that I watched "Love By Chance" and I found the song again. Such a beautiful song that it brings tears to my eyes.

What an incredible version of this song.. I have an abundance of memories with BoC. I feel that remixes easily take away from original songs, and this does not, it also does not distort my memories, but brings them back in vivid color but with a twist. very cool.

This is one very special track for me when i went to Australia alone from Estonia for a year.(After sheep published it i had it in my list right away and i was ready to go in april 2012 ty.). This was part of my 2012... I used to listen to this song when I needed to be inspired. The whole song (remix) it's definitely a beautiful piece of music. I used to feel passion and hope to be alive, to grow up, to discover a whole life. Now... 10 years later I could say that my life it's different, I did a bunch of things at this point and I don't gonna lie. I don't feel that passion that I used to feel, but when I come back to this song, just for a moment... I feel like if I was 15 years old again being in 2012.
I listened to this song back in 2013, when I was 19. Now I'm 28, and I feel very similar. I've done some cool stuff, but my life is very different now than how I thought it would be.
I don't feel super passionate about a lot lately, but I'm trying to find that light again, either in old hobbies or new ones. I'm also at a big crossroads now, one that will define my direction in a way that no other choice in my life has.

It's just that I think that I lost the "magic" that I used to had. You can re-take old hobbies too, or find a new one. Try to explore something new. I don't know what are you passing in this moment of your life, but if this situation (In a good way) could change a big part of you life, take the chance and do it. If it's something not too good and you have a doubt, don't take it. I recommend you to make a list of good/bad things about it and try to decide. Never give up, everything change for some reason... And always exists a solution for any problem. You can do it.

The original is an Interlude though. I can't really say this remix ruins an interlude, because there wasn't much to vibe on in the first place because as soon as you get into it, it fades off...
At least someone decided to make an actual tune out of it and i respect that. I really like it, but perhaps i'm biased because i enjoy deep "youthful" music as much as i do downtempo electronica like BOC.

Yeah, same here, I was really scared at first because it is so easy to break the essence of the sound in this track. Some wobbles would absolutely ruin the atmosphere. But it turned out really nice :)
