Still hereâŠwho would leave early?!?! Thank you so much for going slow and including SUCH SPECIFIC TIPS!! I learn so much from you!!! đ
Still here! Yes, eyeliner tutorial please. Iâm 67 so while my lids arenât hooded, I deal with crepey and wrinkled skin. Hard to be as precise as you are in this tutorial. Love to see your mom more often - closer to my age group! â€
Lisa, yours is one of the best for hooded, low real estate eyelids. You explained as you went about the shadow and light. I've been using several City Beauty products for several years. I learned a new way for the wrinkle filler. I also use the eyelid and under eye conditioner. I also have a new eyelid primer. Sometimes I use their facial primer with SPF30 with a bit of cheek color and/or bronzer. I'm 81 1/2 years old.đ
Wow...81 years young đ đ
I would love a video that is actually demonstrating this on someone with hooded, wrinkled eyes⊠your eyes are so beautiful at your age and this makeup looks perfect on your eyes. Like a mature eye video.
Hi! The video that just went up yesterday and I am doing my momâs makeup, you might enjoy that one.
I love these videos and appreciate you zooming in when you are applying the product. It really helps see your technique and placement.
So true!!
Great video! Loved the focus on which brushes to use when defining the crease!
Me = jealous over Lisaâs space for miles on her eye lids đźđ I obviously have lid envy đ
I wish someone in their 60âs that actually has hooded eyes would do a tutorial on applying eye shadow.
I have Jane Iredale from Aesthetician school. I'm 60 and graduated last month. Great tips Lisa†i rarely think to curl my lashes.
Still here! The tips about which brushes to use and how is always helpful to me.
I'm still here! đ I love how you apply eyeliner and would enjoy a full video on all the tips and tricks! đđ
I have watched a million hooded eye tutorials. So I knew all of these suggestions, but they are all good techniques to use. The groomed eyebrows and eye primer really make a difference. Excellent point about using the correct brush. â€â€
LOVE this video! Iâm 71 and the eyes are so important at this age. It takes the focus off not so great skin.đ
I made it!! Really great suggestions-specifically, I liked hearing how each brush works and what to look for with bristles, size, and shape. Iâd love to see a video dedicated to all things eyeliner! Thanks for posting this, Lisa!
Hi Lisa, Yes, Please do a vid on eyeliner, especially for over 70's. Not hooded....Tk u
Still here! The socket work is def a must w hoodies
YES eyeliner tutorial please...68 and need helpđ
Wow...thus was very comprehensive †Seems like City Beauty has been " knocking it out of the park" with many of their products. That was a crack up to see you obsessing over the last portion of the tutorial.
Well thought out and intelligently put together...2 thumbs up đ đ
Appreciate the tips but maybe use a model who truly has mature, hooded lids?
I agree. A lot of great info in this video, however, Iâd like to see an older woman with crepey, hooded eyes having eye makeup applied.
Probably the best explanation on how to apply makeup for hooded eyes! Loved this!
Iâm still here, Lisa!! đ This is the BEST eye tutorial I have ever seen!!! Iâm taking notes! I want to get some of these products & brushes as well!! Iâm 56, and I love doing my eyes!! Mine are green like yours. đ
I'm still here and thanks for all the tips!
This is an excellent tutorial. Your teaching method is detailed, yet easy to understand, because you are teaching the âwhysâ and that is often left out and so important in learning. You are a great teacher Lisa, and your beautiful personality (and pretty face) captivates your audience.
Thank you. đ
And yes please do an eyeliner tutorial đđ»đ
still here, Lisa! Always a pleasure and so helpful to watch your tutorials. You are so good at this. Thank you.
Would LOVE an eyeliner video! đ«¶đ»đ«¶đ»đ«¶đ»
Still here! Gorgeous eyes! Thank you. Yes an eyeliner video would be great
I would love a entire blog on eyeliner!!
Still here! Thank you for this video. I have so much trouble with my hooded eyes I will be using your tricks.
God Bless Youđđ
Iâm still here and learning this for the first time in my almost 65 years! Thank you, Lisa! â€
Thank you Lisa, great information, Iâm 71 and still learning better ways to apply my makeup. I have so many of your brushes that have withstood many years of usage. I have deep set eyes that are hooded and that are naturally very dark. Iâm definitely going to order the eyelid primer because Iâm still looking for a primer that not only takes care of lightening my eyelids but keeps the oily parts of my lids from showing thru yet still keep the dryer inner part of my eyelids less dry. I particularly liked the tip of how to soften and lighted the eyeliner pencil under the lower lashes. I canât tell how many times I see older women make the mistake with putting too dark a pencil under the lower lashes. To me nothing looks harsher for us more mature women than being heavy handed with either eyeliner pencil or shadow under there. As Iâve aged I have changed how I apply my eye makeup cuz Iâm not that 20 yr old with smooth skin because once the lines and saggy skin come into your life you have to change your techniques so you donât look like a clown. Thanks again for the video.
âIâm still here.âBeautiful eye look. Love your videos. Love and Kindness, Teresa
Still here!!! Thanks for another informative video!
Iâm still here, Lisa! Lol. Itâs really interesting because I didnât realize I pretty much always had hooded eyes until I started doing CZcams all those years ago and saw myself on camera. I realized that my brow hung over. So things like this have really helped me so much to open up my eyes. I sure enjoyed this Lisa. Please take care.
Still here!! You totally changed my eyeshadow game when I found you years ago when I didnât know what to do with my hooded eyes!
Yes , so glad you did this tutorial. Iâm 62 I can use lots of tipsđâ€ïž
Still here to the end! You always give such great tips Lisa. I am 69 and have hooded, crepey eyes. I am going to try several of your tips, although i doubt my end result will be as lovely as yours. đ
Lisa, this was a very helpful video on hooded eye makeup! I'm going to spend some practice time this weekend with these tips. All the best, Sharon
Still here! Love your eyeliner tips!!
Still here and I'd appreciate an eyeliner theme video. I prefer using shadows rather than pencil products when I attempt to line, so any pointers about that would be great. Lots of helpful tips in this. I want to work on my brows to create more if that canvas below for the lid area.
Yes on eyeliner tutorial. Would like to know about downturned eyes and how to keep eyeliner on when I curl my lashes. No matter how long it sets, I end up disturbing the liner.
Still here Lisa! Iâm going to try the city beauty line blurring product! Iâm excited to try it!
Still here, Lisa! Love these videos!
Great video, Lisa J! Very helpful with great detail. Thanks.
Thank you Lisa for this tutorial! You have such an Angelic Glow about you!đđđââïžđšđŠ
Loved the video. watched the entire thing. I enjoy the detail, instruction and explanation why you do/use the tools you do and how to apply. An eyeliner technique video would be great.
So helpful, thanks. Yes to eyeliner tips
Thank you for this content, Lisa. And yes, I would like to see the video dedicated to eyeliner that you mentioned!
Thank you! I definitely have hooded eyelids. When I look straight ahead you do not see my lid, so I definitely appreciate tricks to lift. I would like to see a video on eye liners. đ
Still here - I enjoy your step by step video's - I always watch them through then go get my make up and brushes and follow along. Thank you.
At first, I was tempted to skip it because I couldn't follow, and it was long-winded. However, I kept watching until the end and ended up watching it again. It had some great techniques. đ
We are still here â€đ you look beautiful as always and youâre such a great educator
âIâm still here!â I have hooded eyes and appreciate these tips and tricks. â€
Thanks for the tips Lisa! Really helpful. X
Still here! Yes to the eyeliner tutorial. This was a great video. Iâm interested in trying these city products . Have a great weekend !â€
Fabulous Lisa. Some really great tips here that I will try xx
I can't tell you how wonderful it is to hear you inform people of the risks of dry eye and tightlinin
g. As a person who has suffered for years with dry eye and blepharitis it has freaked me out how casually influencers advise people to tight line without any warning about the potential for damage to their eyes. My oil glands are 75% blocked (from illness) and treatments are not helping so I do not want anyone else to go through this or exacerbate existing issues. Thank you and please pass the word among your beauty friends.
Still here!! Always!!! Thank you so much Lisa! I'm new to eyes and this was all so helpful. I saved it so I can go back to it! â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€
You are a very good teacher. I learned several things from this video. The eyeliner application was very helpful. Thank you.
I love the art of makeupâ€
You have the perfect eyes for make up application. No hooding, no crepey skinâŠyouthful eyes, Iâm soooo envious. â€â€â€
Love these tips! That is what I like about your channel you have taught me so much thanks for taking the time to teach us. It is really appreciated!
I had purchased the wrinkle filler but was not trying it under the eyes - I will try that now. Also, I was just looking for an eyelid primer other than MAC paint pot as it has seemed dry to me lately, maybe I need a new one. I love your tutorials, Lisa! You are an amazing teacher and an incredibly kind person. Thank you! đ«¶đ»
Love the video and love how you explain everything and showing how to actually apply and the type of brushes to use. Thank you!
Always watch until the end. I'm 63 and a huge fan. Your brushes are the best tools!
What a great video Lisa! I am filming a video about hooded eyes on Monday too and was looking for extra tips and techniques and you did not disappoint. So many golden nuggets in here! Thanks friend for sharing your incredible talent with the world and never gate keeping. â€
I watched the entire video, and appreciated the individual suggestions and loved the overall look! I will have to try at least one of the City Beauty eye products!
Great video! Thank you LIsa!
I'm still here and I'm loving it!!
Thank you. I appreciate the close ups and the details.
Lisa, thank you so much for being so specific with the brushes you use for each step. It helps me as Iâm still figuring out which brushes to use- I just bought a lot from your Motherâs Day sale. Thank you for another great video. đđžđ P.S. -you look beautiful!đ€©
Still here. Loving the tutorial. Thank you.
Great tips and tweaked up what I already learned from youâ€
This was a really good video. Iâm 64 and have an issue with dry eyes so the information about the adverse effects of tight lining was really useful. Never felt comfortable doing that in any case.
BTW your customer service was excellent regarding a recent purchase I made. For once the time difference between the US and Australia worked in my favour too.
Thanks Lisa, this video is perfection and I can't wait to try this. And I'm 100% for a video on eyeliner and I'm still here!!!
Still here! I have hooded eyes, these videos help so much, thanks for going slow. I learned how to deepen the corners, as I was always confused, on tutorials everyone goes through that part so quick, so now, I will be trying that. Please do eyeliner tutorials for hooded eyes. Thank you!
Love your channel your very good at tutorials thank you
Great video! Yes to liner video
I will most likely purchase all those brushes you used. You've convinced me of their efficacy đ
Yes please. Hooded eyes over here.
How do you feel about bronzer for the transition?
Great video! Thanks for the tips!
I learned so much! Thank you.
I love this video so much. I watch so many make up channels and copy what they do, and I end up feeling so over done. I just followed your video, pausing it along the way. I got such a beautifully defined eye that still has a natural look, and doesnât look heavy. I especially like how you softened the look of the lined lower lashes. Beautiful!! 63 and I love it!
Thank you Lisa!!đ„°
Iâm still here Lisa. Your eyes look gorgeous đ
I'm still here đ I appreciate your tutorials, they are so helpful. And you are so beautiful †It would be great, if you can have a model with crow feet around the eyes and show a few techniques. Love your wonderful brushes â€
Still here đ
I really enjoy applying mine along with you. Thank goodness for pause. I always appreciate your kind demeanor!!
Thank you Lisa, as I've gotten older I've got hooded eyes. I'm going to try all your tricks and see what works for me. đ
Hello Lisa! Thank you so much!!!!
I learned so much from you! I have hooded eyes! I have a hard time with my eyeshadow because of this! Thank you

Hi Lisa! I was watching your video while eating breakfast & need to head out for errands. I was going to just put on sunscreen & lipstick, but after watching your video, did a fairly quick makeup application and definitely feel & look better.
