Well, two years later and I still have to hear a better lead tone from all these amazing Pete's videos and pedals ....well that's to my ears anyway

Awesome stuff, as usual Mr. Thorn. At what point do we begin to realize that while the amps are no doubt very special, the gap between unicorn amps and the pedals inspired by them isn't nearly as wide as it used to be? Incredible.

Stellar review. These Dumble pedals are interesting. Alone, to me they sound brittle and harsh. But in the mix, they punch through. I find the pedals so hard to play as a home player, but you have demonstrated why they are magic on a track.

Great song, my fave so far- and it's all in the hands, for the most part. Pete can make a used DS-1 into a 5 watt Gorilla sound absolutely killer.
Goodness I love the tone of this pedal! Pete nails another demo! That price tag kind of high but this one maybe worth it 🧐

Did not expect to see a Mosrite/Danelectro in there! Great sounds from this one, some good variety. For what it's worth the only fx pedal Alex Dumble actually likes is from Japan, called the Texas Tornado by Crews Maniac Sound. I took mine over to him and took me 7 years to get it back!
Only Joe Bonamassa is allowed to play a Les Paul with a Dumble. You’re living on the edge brother. Respect. 🎸😜🤘🏻

Never been much of a Dumble man. I just like me some Marshall tone. I still like my pink taco better than anything I've played and I've been playing 53 years. Like the princeton for clean though.
Have one pre ordered- and Emilio has been more than warm and cool, putting up w my meatball emails and questions. Emilio gave up a career in aerospace engineering, to design pedals w his wife,- and the demand for gladio, is surely testament to the design. Fuckin stoked once get mine. It’s easy, here’s how to do it-
Sock a bit of pedal cash away bit by bit, and you will have any piece of gear you set your mind on, and be double stoked about the achievements once yours. Lvl up

I'd love to try this pedal out with my two main rigs. That low gain OD sound from this pedal is killer, but once again, garbage in garbage out.
Hey Pete, the Malin Dumble Pedal is a All tube ,hand wired Dumble clone Pre Amp pedal. I just received mine. He makes only 1-2 a month ,there was a 2 year turn over date when I 1st placed the order. I usually don't do this but I love your channel ,If you want to research it and are interested in checking one out let me know and I will ship mine over to you for a couple of weeks to test drive. I really think you'd dig it. Mark Malin makes a hell of an amp.stay healthy Pete.

..bought the King Tone Duellist last year $399.00 ... sounds great ...since then several more pedals have come out ( including this one) which suppose to " sound even better " ....I'm not crapping on anything , but it never ends...just practice / play more to sound like Pete ...then you'll sound good thru a $80.00 Boss DS-1.

Beausant, the wait time for a Gladio is at least 3 months. It is a good choice and yes it matches the demand. I’ve had one since April last year. I will never regret it. Its a must….
Pedal sounds great and all, but my main takeaway from this demo is I want that Suhr Strat in the worst way.

Sounds great, but I attribute a lot of that to your talent as a player. Nothing will sound good if the player can't play or is incapable of achieving a good tone on an unplugged electric guitar. Why am I saying this? I'm not completely sure. :-)
I think people often confuse style with toon. I'm sure you are I could go pick up Petes guitar and play an E chord and sound identical. Of course pete is amazing but the tones he gets from this pedal are amazing and I think ima over this pedal
