Being a Cbr local, it never ceases to amuse me that many locals see the monument in Russell as Bugs Bunny , when in reality it's a very serious looking eagle.

@@Hutcho72 From a distance, and as you're driving past, the wings of the eagle look more like bunny ears hence the nickname. It's only really unambiguously an eagle if you're in Russell or have a closer view of it which the majority of people won't have.

It’s super interesting hearing the reasons they banned Huawei. They basically realised that if Australia was capable of this stuff, then China would be far more capable.
