    Nice video. Thanks. Any chance you can explain/show the correct setup/use of the spreader bar that comes with the dark room 8P tent's tent poles?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      I assume you are referring to the roof poles that are integrated into the tent, Wilhelm, the extra poles are upright awning poles, I'm not aware of an additional spreader bar. The setup of the frame for the 8p Gold is the same as the setup for the Silver Series 8P, for which you can see a video here - czcams.com/video/ntxM0jAAGYM/video.html. I hope that helps. ~ Ben

    I wish Coleman would offer their international designs here in the US. I like the rainfly design your tent is equipped with.

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      I dont think they have generic international designs @William Mc Gregor, it seem that each country has their own tailored range. I know the US and Canada seem to have different gear options, and we get another lot of gear entirely!

    ¿ cuáles son las medidas de la lona que habría que comprar para el piso ? gracias

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před rokem

      Depende de la cantidad de terreno que quieras cubrir. Coleman hizo una huella que cubre solo el piso de la tienda (www.snowys.com.au/ground-mesh-footprint).
      Probablemente no encontrará nada más que se ajuste exactamente si desea cubrir también el vestíbulo y el toldo. Aquí tenemos un plano con medidas que pueden ayudar: www.snowys.com.au/instant-up-silver-8p-side-entry-tent. ~ ben

    Hi Ben, what is the difference between the Silver series and the Gold series....Looking at tent options, as we are getting past climbing up into a soft floor trailer.

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety +1

      It's kind of like buying the base model vs the sports model of a car, asd64lkj. The basics are pretty much the same, but with the Gold Series you get nicer fabrics with a higher waterproof rating and a nicer feeling floor, and, depending on which model you choose, extra features like awnings, second entrances and enhanced ventilation. If it's a long term investment I'd recommend one of the Gold Series Instant Up tents. ~ Ben

    What difference darkroom and silver?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      In a nutshell, the Silver series is the base model, whereas the Darkroom series (or Gold Series) is the premium version. It has better fabrics with higher waterhead ratings, the darkroom coating and many extras including integrated lighting in some models. ~ Ben

      G'day James Evans, in this video the Instant Up 8P is paired with the Oztrail Ultramesh Tarp 8 x 16ft - www.snowys.com.au/ultramesh-tarp
      Alternatively you could use the Coleman Ground Mesh Footprint for Instant Up Tents (8P version) - www.snowys.com.au/ground-mesh-footprint
      I hope this helps!
      Cheers, Sonia

    Can you leave the fly attached and pack away together

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      You probably could but we don't recommend this, Julianne. You risk getting the flysheet caught in the frame and causing holes which will inevitably leak, you may also find it harder to pack if they stay together. ~ Ben
