    Providing plenty of space and shade, plus a super easy set up - the Instant Up Silver 8P Side Entry Tent from Coleman will house the whole fam on your next getaway.
    This design has an all-in-one frame and inner design for a speedy set up, a waterproof fly for protection against the elements, mesh windows for ventilation, a heavy-duty welded PE floor to prevent leaks, a roomy interior with a removable room divider for privacy and a side entry for extra shelter around the tent.
    In this video, our teammate Ben headed down to the Brownhill Creek Tourist Park to show you how to set up and pack away the Instant Up Silver 8P Side Entry Tent from Coleman.
    He starts off with what you get inside the bag, then puts down a groundsheet and lays the tent out flat while orienting it the right way.
    After that, he pegs down the base, extends the frame, adds the fly on, sets up the awnings, clips in the internal divider, and finally shows you the process in reverse to pack it away - so watch above for all the details.

    Another great video! Can Coleman really call this an instant up tent? Imagine a long day on the 4x4 tracks, you pull up and have to set this beast up.

      Thanks, Andrew. It's not overly difficult, especially if you have a second set of hands to help out. ~ Ben

    Nice video. Thanks. Any chance you can explain/show the correct setup/use of the spreader bar that comes with the dark room 8P tent's tent poles?

      I assume you are referring to the roof poles that are integrated into the tent, Wilhelm, the extra poles are upright awning poles, I'm not aware of an additional spreader bar. The setup of the frame for the 8p Gold is the same as the setup for the Silver Series 8P, for which you can see a video here - czcams.com/video/ntxM0jAAGYM/video.html. I hope that helps. ~ Ben

      Did you figure it out how to use the extra bar? We also got one of those in our tent no clue how/where to use it

      @@hevelynfagundes - we contacted Snowys and they said it must have been included in the pack by accident, because they don't know anything about it either (as stated above as well). I'm still not quite convinced, and especially since you mentioned the same. After having several attempts at various places, I still can't find a logical place for it. Let us know if you do!

      @@kwaaikraai thanks for the reply, we haven't figured it out, I will keep you posted if we find anything

    Hahaha.... I managed to pitch and take down this tent sort of OK, coz my daughter has a Coleman 10P Instant Up - but they do erect/collapse a bit differently. Would have helped if I had watched this video beforehand. Good video, thanks. 👍

    Would you say this good with rain protection?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Před 3 lety

      Yes, definitely. The fabric on the Instant Up Silver series has a 1500 mm waterhead rating, which will be more than enough rain protection for the casual/family camping conditions this tent would be used in. ~ Ben

    Honestly, looks too big a footprint for tight camping areas.

      It is more of a family camping tent, DOCWHOK9, it will be tight in small campsites. ~ Ben
