    • @masterbro90
      @masterbro90 Před 2 lety +16

      The difference between them is that Izzy uses 1 or 2 rounds to download patterns and then start turning the aggression up (in most of his fights). Even the fights that became more technical, vs Silva, Tavares were more entertaining than Ganes fight because Izzy is trying to land something significant. Gane on the other hand will be satisfied with staying on the outside, not really throwing anything damaging, winning on points, i.e. his fight with Volkov and Rozenstruik. That's why fans find him boring...

      It wasn’t outmuscling, he escaped without needing to use his strength, lewis was the one trying to use strength in the clinch, Gane’s clinch grappling is good, Lewis usually does that to people who have bad technique out of the clinch, Latifi too neutralised Lewis even when he’s much smaller.

    Definitely my favorite fighter in the heavyweight division and I always was calling it saying he was problem since his fourth fight. The mans foot work speed and overall skill makes him a huge problem it’s like he’s a evolved heavyweight 🤷🏾‍♂️💯

    @legaltender5943 Před 2 lety +6

    Francis still hasnt been past the 2nd round since the Stipe fight. His cardio is still in question....I can easily see Ciryl dancing on the backfoot & countering with straight punches to Ngannou's wild clubbing attacks.

    • @omega9409
      @omega9409 Před 2 lety +1

      Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think he beat stipe with wild clubbing attacks
      I agree with everything else, but Francis has improved with his boxing. That said, it doesn’t mean his technique won’t wilt if he gasses

      @F yeah people act like volkov is a glass chin when he's only been knocked once in the ufc and rozenstruik also has a good chin himself. Game doesn't have ngannou power but he still has power.

    • @frace3824
      @frace3824 Před 2 lety +1

      Honestly I think his jab has more pop on it than any other punch he throws. It might actually be his most powerful punch.

      @marcellogenovese199 Před 2 lety +2

      @@tateslife6836You generate the most power when your feet are planted, notice how Gane is always bouncing... People that say he lacks power don't understand the biomechanics as well as they should. Notice once Derek was hurt he set his feet and started blasting him and got the finish even through the guard and with his fucking fore arm? Yea that is power right there. Gane is just confident and smart enough in his fight IQ that he knows better then to even reach for the power tool until he is already guaranteed the win. I actually think that makes him a much more impressive and dangerous fighter then he gets credit for. The fact he was in a championship fight as a newby in the UFC, in hostile territory against the vet hometown favorite and showed us that much calmness and focus is ridiculously impressive. I also wonder how the crowd will affect Francis, he could hear his entire corner VS that silent Stipe fight and they were constantly telling him to calm down and be focused, I can see him easily getting frustrated against a familiar fighter and swinging wildly if he gets frustrated with Ganes movement and range. Should be a super awesome fight, and both guys are wrothy champs so we win either way.

      @@marcellogenovese199 if gane beats ngannou and defends the title,he would get his name thrown in the HW goat section. I don't think he's lost a Rd and all his fights are against elite strikers. That's like khabib dominating Every wrestler to get to the belt.

    When the opponent believes they’ve been poked in the eye and it is just a Jaba, that is because the fighter throwing the jab stepped all the way through pushing his knuckle deep into the eyesocket. Just perfect. You are taught to aim like you are driving it through the opponents head, this is exactly what Cyril did.
