I have noticed that my American BBs tend to citadel less than they used to. They still do, but they used to smack all the time, especially Iowa.
Every bb use to citadel more often. You use to be able to nuke an Iowa from across the map. They changed something about shells interact with armor I think over a year ago. I think it was to make the game even less skillful/more casual then it was by making mistakes less likey to be punished consistently.
When the game launched no one had max camo and max dispersion with full rudder builds.

Like I said, it's my belief they did it in an effort to make ships more survivable, make the game more casual, and make matches last longer despite the relatively low average skill level in this game. I can see were they'd be coming from but the drawback to this is it makes the game less rewarding and more frustrating to the minority of good players who expect punishment for making a mistake and instead rng says "no" much more often than it used to.
That's been my observation and speculation anyways.

Iowa was the first American naval ship I’ve seen up close. A friend let me stare at it before we went to chill at his place. It was late so I couldn’t actually go on it but I couldn’t help but love looking at that ship. I’m grinding for it purely to drive it around and have fun. Love your videos on this battleship!

The AL New Jersey is one of my favs along with Iowa. I play New Jersey more mostly cause of being able to get more silver per game but definitely play Iowa when she’s in battle!
I eventually want to get the Missouri (missoura how i like to say it) but that’ll take some tim to get 7k more steel :/
And Wisconsin is comeing to PC so hopefully all the sisters will be together on legends

I think t5 t6 mm is pretty bad, considering the range difference and gun size difference. Not impossible but it is harder
I love the Iowa but the thing I hate about it are the teammates playing it snipping at the back of the map plus the mega nerf it was given like the amagi
It really wasn't nerfed that bad they just dropped the AP damage a bit
@@SpartanElite43 A nerf is still a nerf plus it's accuracy went low I don't know why but reload build for it is better than accuracy
@@GNRI530 accuracy hasn't been touched and I have actually pivoted away from reload builds on everything except Constellation
@@SpartanElite43 I see but still have you noticed that some bb accuracy have gone bad except the Japanese they are a special case especially Amagi cause my Iowa just seems to bracket a ship and only hit one shell or less than 5 unless from close range.

How do you not get blapped at the beginning of the match
Run concealment mod and try not to be the first thing spotted. If you need to make a big turn keep turning so that you try to get angled away before the shells get to you
The Iowa is also my most played ship too

I'm convinced people only truly believe the Iowa is bad if they sail flat broadside to other BBs. I've slapped so many Iowas for juicy citadels and dev strikes who are just sailing in a straight line. When one is angled properly, they usually ruin my whole day. I can't wait to get it and try it out myself.

Iowa’s a good ship, and a good looking one at that, but for me, personally, the accuracy is absolutely awful.. with a full accuracy commander levelled up fully and the accuracy is more often than not comparable to that of a German BB.. which is so sad because I want to love Iowa, but I just can’t. To each their own though, my personal fav t7 is Amagi (or maybe Richelieu)

Is Iowa bad? No. Are there better options at the tier? Yes. In fact, I think all the other t7 American bbs are superior to Iowa in almost every way even though that makes no sense historically.
I think the only thing Iowa does better in game than Kansas or the SoDa's is its slighly faster to get on a flank.

@@ktmcrush2290 every time you take a ship into battle you pay a service cost in silver. The higher the tier the more expensive it is.
If you don't do enough during the match to earn more silver than your service cost you will lose silver

Is it me or has it got very poor in 6/7/8 in last weeks? All hanging back no support, hiding behind islands to protect stats? Always find myself trying to take caps on my own? Or I’m just a shit player on new maps?

Destroyer is still single handedly the most powerful class in the game, by miles. Unless you pick specific ships to counter them, carriers or radar cruiser, they can play guerrilla warfare all day…
