    I always thought the idea of the Master Sword rusting was odd, considering it's a divine weapon. It being covered in Malice makes way more sense. It would also explain why it's spotless when Link gets it again, since it would purify itself of the Malice.

    • @Whofan06

      I figured if it was rusting it's because it's directly connected to Link and as his body is damaged so is the sword

    There is an alternate cutscene for the final memory. When Impah points to the framed photo of Fort Hateno as your clue, you can take a picture of it with the Sheikah slate. When you go to that memory spot and activate the cutscene, Link will pull out the Sheikah slate and view the photo like he would with the other pre-installed photos. On the other hand, if you figure out that the location is Fort Hateno and don't need to take a picture, the cutscene will play differently and shows Link just jogging his memory without looking at a picture (the same animation used when he remembers Mipha after her dad jogs his memory).
    I don't know how well this other one is known, but you can feed a horse apples straight out of your hands instead of dropping apples on the ground. Just hold them and walk up close enough to the horse.

    • @badoink5470
      @badoink5470 Před 2 lety +129

I'm so happy I found it because I wasn't satisfied since all other divine beasts are portrayed and mentioned, so I figured vah rudania must be in there too somewhere. #9: Use an Octoballoon to move the slates and boulders instead of Stasis & whacking with a weapon OR Magnesis & a metal object. Slates and most boulders only need one Octoballoon; just attach it to the slate/boulder and it will float up and away. Boulders that are larger than Link is tall need two Octoballoons. If you see the message "You can't hold that here" when trying to take Octoballoons out of inventory, step away from the slate/boulder, take out the Octoballoon(s), then move close to the slate/boulder and attach the Octoballoon(s).

    • @peanut6862
      @peanut6862 Před 2 lety +10

      But that uses up octo balloons, and if you don't have a decent amount (e.g. 100-200), its much more cost efficient to use a metal weapon, shield or bow.

      @@dsknight0922 I believe the zora armour requires octo balloons to be upgraded, and besides, just because it is there, doesn't mean it has to have a use. This is a possible solution to move boulders, but not the best one. I honestly don't think octo balloons will feel left out just because we don't use them. Also, there are some glitches/challenges (such as arrow smuggling and stepless Eventide) which require octo balloons, so they are not useless.

      @@ab17364 awww thanks for asking! Well I can’t say for sure tbh because I have had two switches. And I have two accounts, one for master mode one for regular. The master mode one isn’t linked to Nintendo. But my regular account says 300 hours, I’ve had this switch for about 6 months now ❤️

    Hello there Game Spot! I’m new here, so I’m not sure if you knew this already, but if you don’t have heat resistant gear or food, you can drop chuchu jelly and then smash it with a weapon. This will temporarily cool you down since there is water coming out of the Jelly! Just a small tip

    In that scene in the rain where Zelda mentions Link's father, Link isn't just practicing his sword fighting form. He's slicing through droplets of rain in half as they fall; you can see them splatter as he cuts through them in the scene. Pretty raw if you ask me.

    I got one people probably don't know. In Kakariko village, there is an NPC who sells you arrows and gives you a quest to light the torches afire with your bow and arrow. She has optional dialog if you do not light the torches using a bow and arrows.

    I've got two for you! If you are weaponless, you can use a lit barrel to light a campfire.
    But the best one is if you activate weapon smuggling or bow smuggling before you pick up the final trial master sword. I suggest using an elemental rod, but the bladesaw is great as well!

    Can I request if it's not much maybe have a video where it shows various attack techniques regardless if it's the common ones or new ones that players learned on their own or accidentally find out about it.
