Building a 1/25 Scale 1971 Mach 1 Engine (AMT 007 1971 Mach 1 Mustang)

Today we're going to be UPGRADING and building a 1/25 Scale 1971 Mach 1 Engine from AMT. This is literally my first ever car model being tackled and also one that's not easy. The kit is fairly new, branding the 71 Mach 1 from the classic 007 films. As much fun as it was to put together, this kit is not recommended for novice builders as the instructions and parts are pretty confusing. We did however, buy some additional 1/25 add-ons including time belt, pulleys, wire looms and tiny gauge wires. All parts were ordered from: www.tedsmodelingmarketplace.com

Thanks to everyone leaving their opinions. We forget how quick we are to point out the mistakes, however as stated in the video. This was my FIRST engine I ever worked with, and did my best with resources I had. Luckily for all you. This ISN'T a working engine. So please you all keep your PARTS GO HERE comments to a minimum. Kit was already built, so those types of comments are futile.

Put those extra chrome Boss 429 valve covers. It looks cool but surprised the exhaust manifolds fit still!

The boss 429 heads upside down under the 351 Cleveland heads doesn't quite fit correctly 9:08. Lot of effort though, the spark plug wires look good.
His audio is ok he just keeps fast forwarding.

I hate to tell you this, but the FE cylinder heads are on backwards, and the Boss 429 valve covers are mounted where the exhaust manifolds should be.

where were you planning to hook the exhaust manifolds on this engine?

Wish I had a better camera to record with and finish the video, however since this was being installed into the Bond Edition Mach 1. They had to be put on last and from under the car to set them properly.

There are tons of extra parts we can add 10:40. That doesn't mean use them all at the same time 😕

Did you bother getting the firing order right, 13726548 for the 351C, or 15426378 for the Boss 429?

You used the boss 429 valve covers as heads just fyi also that air cleaner is not the ram air type and not correct for this kit. I
