- this has been an issue for the last couple of years I am really at an impassion in the CZcams career as it is. I do like to show my life but its become a very difficult thing to produce videos that I feel will not attract shitty people. not people that live far away from me. people that feel they can track down the farms I have shown me doing improvements to and try to take them away. I have lost a couple recently and its pretty obvious how they know what's been done and what they say to the owner of the property. its ok in my opinion because most of these clowns couldn't farm there way out of a shoebox. I will just get my bucket of popcorn and watch.

I’ve watched you for a very long time now. I think you only had about 6 videos when I first started watching. I don’t comment a whole lot but I seriously enjoy your content and love your outlook on pretty much everything. Also, when my dad passed away and I was homeless and hungry… you offered me help. That meant the world to me. Even tho I didn’t accept the help because I’m stubborn… I seriously appreciated that moment. We have a saying here in norway, and i would translate it like this, "you forge your own success". I am 45 years old now, and i have truly learned and appriciated the meaning of this saying over the last 10-15 years of my life, and life gets a bit lonely sometimes thoug i have my girl and kids and family around me, but just like you wes, i quit talking to other people, bc it does not do me any good anymore, for some of the same reasons. In the uk it’s similar, I’m a sheep farmer and when we used to rent a lot if ground people we knew well would just take right off you without even a concern so we ended up cutting the stock because it was getting silly, people were taking the ground for more money than they could make anything on it 🤷♂️

I definitely miss the ride along videos just showing what you were doing! Its a darn shame it had to be ruined, but ill still watch whatever content you put out! Been a subscriber since the time around the 4960 burning and have watched everything since!

For what its worth, Wes is spot on about Tim taking over because he told me the same thing 8 years ago. I don't always agree with Wes but he speaks his mind and I would take that ten times more than someone playing to the audience. What I also know is that he has HELPED more people through his videos than he will ever know.

I have learned SO MUCH from you in regards to plant/plant health. Example is the soybean nodules that are full of nitrogen. I'm 46 and never knew that!! (been farming all my life) I absolutely love learning information like that. Please keep fighting and standing strong 💪❤

I have the exact same issue and it’s because I am blunt and my natural voice tone gives the impression that I am mad and actually upset when I am really happy at the time.
Been watching you for 12 plus years and it would be a damn shame to see you go. It would be nice to see the farming videos again but some of us that have been here awhile just enjoy hearing from you.
Thank you Wes for the matter of fact(s) video, what happen to old school with "if you do not have anything positive to say, you saying nothing at all"? I have found over many years, when in a conversation with other people and they starting talking negatively about other people; they will talk negatively about you. Best to avoid these types altogether and limit your interactions with those who have little good to say about people in their lives.
Two years ago my combine broke down for a week and my loving neighbors went to my landlord's and told them I couldn't finish harvest and couldn't afford to pay for the repairs and they should rent the farm to them
Wes been watching since u were pulling wagons with the John Deere and Farmall M. In regards to the people talking about you, here is a quote from my late wife, “People are probably not happy with there own life if they are busy discussing yours”. Hope you can continue the channel.

I had to laugh when you set the camera in the tire cause that’s exactly what happened to me one time when I was patching a truck tire. I got it all prepped and glued, turned around to get the patch ready and then “oh no” there was all the shit right in my prepped area.

Man, I'm watching this video and it's like you're pretty much reading my experiences in life the last 30 years or so. I don't talk to really anyone except my parents, sister, and a couple real friends that I have, but that's about all. I don't know why some people have to be jealous or spiteful about things because of success or positions in life, but they are. I never found that mode of living to be right or beneficial to anyone. I like to be helpful or giving to the folks I know deserve it and appreciate it. They are usually the ones who are first to show up ready to help without me asking, which they know I never do unless it is something I absolutely cannot do alone. All the others can kiss my ass because that's all I'll ever offer them, which is fine by me. Just keep doing what you do and watch your backside Wes.
I did some farming for myself and good friends that farm for a living never never changed them a nickel they enjoyed having me because I was very mechanically inclined.did their milking if they wanted to take a vacation for a week or two called to see if I had a problem which was never. If I lived closer I would offer you the same.but now I'm in a wheelchair and very much love your videos.don't stop because of those idiots!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Always find your thoughts interesting and sensible. It’s a shame there are individuals in this world that will stoop to the lowest level of humanity and sensibility to get even a fraction of the weight of a breath of hot air up on you. I worked with many of them for years. One of the best things I took home from church one day was, Forgiveness is the gift you give yourself. It helped me learn to turn a blind eye to the people in my life trying their best to push themselves up by the top of my head. Eventually I mostly started to take pity on their actions because I have never thought of myself as any significant threat to anyone, and if you have to strike out at me, just how low of an opinion do you have of yourself. I do miss some of the content but what you have lost in the fields I truly believe you have made up for in you end of day and morning going to church chats. I personally enjoy seeing what a healthy husband and wife relationship looks like and the growing mind in William as he learns to be a mix of his mom and dad. Wishing you and your family the best

Some of my close family I trust less than complete strangers....true story. People are treacherous, for damn sure. If you live on earth you are a victim of people's treachery. (family or other)

Wes, just remember why you started posting to YT in the first place. You started doing it before there was even any money in it. You told us it was something you did because you enjoyed it. Don’t make it a job. If you no longer enjoy it don’t feel bad about stopping. I hope you do not stop. But I understand why you might do so. Wishing you the best and I will continue to watch.

You’re on the right track, I get along with most farmers around here but there’s that certain few that are a holes that planted rocks in your hay field little do they know the new owners know
Wes at 56 years old I don't have any friends. People are just people I know, and that's it.
I for one have gained a good deal of information about farming and repairing farm equipment from your videos. I’m a good deal older than you and I didn’t start hay farming until I retired from fifty years of service in the inland maritime industry. These type of people you have described are in every type of industry and walks of life. And the way you handled them is best just ignore them they won’t go away but eventually they will self inflict harm to themselves. My grandson does row crop farming and has some really good help from other farmers and some who have tried to under cut him on rent ground by bad mouthing his farming practices. These people haven’t succeeded in getting any land away from him and more than likely have hurt themselves overall. In general I have found that people who deal underhandedly will be treated by others like the snake in the grass. I don’t know if you are dealing with the solar panel issues in New Jersey but in southern Indiana we are and these prices these companies are offering for ground on long term lease contracts ( 30 years) are non competitive for farming. And more and more long time farmers who own ground that’s been generational are retiring and the heirs don’t want to farm are selling their land to housing developers. Making farm ground here even more unaffordable to beginnings farmers. I hate that you can’t show more farming methods but I totally understand it. The people who undercut someone who has put the time, money, and effort into building up ground for good yields are very low life to say the least. What comes around goes around.

I don't know about that. I can't wait to see how Cole's house comes out. There is a lot of history there and on the property. I'm glad Cole is taking a big interest in restoring the family's house. So many of the young ones want to sweep family history under the carpet. I do believe it will be hard for Cole to reveal what he set out to do because it's personal and I don't think dad is down with all of it. Why because it creates problems with the locals and the land lords. If they found out he is making a big chunk of change on some of the rented property they may want more money for rent.

wes keep the videos comming i enjoy the content , i recently bought a john deere b-a grain drill for $250 and a ih 455 4 row corn planter with 5 sets of plates for $100 both are field ready im thinking of starting to film videos on them

I have been a sub for very many year Wes will never get to meet you regret that but have watched other you tubers you have helped and there is more than one if you decide to give up CZcams you will definitely be missed by me and a hell of a lot more people but you need to do what you feel you have to do
Well I can understand if you no longer want to do this, I’m sure it is a lot of work editing and just making the content. That being said you show a side that nobody else shows. I have lived my life with the attitude that I don’t care what others think about me. I believe you are the same way. And you are correct there are a ton of people that always have all the answers and those that just like to shake shit up. They are not worth wasting the time on unless…. They do things that hurt you or the family. Then it’s gloves off.
I just started a CZcams channel and I don’t post anymore because the same thing and I don’t tell anybody I even had somebody stumble across it and now the whole county knows I feel your pain
you can pick your friends. you can't pick your relatives and your neighbors.
Though you can sometimes improve relations with them by inviting them over for a BBQ.
Same here, local farmers hate me because I have a CZcams channel and they said they don’t want me to spread for them and I’m like ok whatever, no skin off my back, just a bunch of jealous haters that I don’t give a fuck about either way
