If the chickens have their feathers, that will protect them from the cold. Put the little heater in the outdoor house, so if they feel chilly they can go near it. Don't over think this and you will do fine.

Thank you Patricia. It’s really strange but the goats even seem happier with the pups around. I truly think they miss Smokey too. Batman especially has been so sweet to pups. They actually slept down by the pups last night in the other porta hut. That’s the first time since Smokey’s been gone. ❤️

Seems to me that Riley and Rev are settling in really well! Batman acts like the old grandfather, watching that the pups aren't going to get over on him . PW and Fox are acting like the pups are cousins that you don't really know, but have to get along with anyway. It's just fascinating!

I also watch hidden heights farm they have a great perinies dog named MOJO he gets real hot in the summer as they have a thick under coat so they was going to give him a hair cut but found out it was not healthy for him so you might want to research that. They have a special brush that removes a lot of loose under coat in the spring
A good garden hose down will loosen that under coat too.
I'm glad everyone is settling into a routine, and letting the pups know what is their territory is good. We used the command "far enough," with my first pup, so she wouldn't syray too far when we we're camping

It is easy to tell the kiddos apart. Rylie's ear color pops more than Revels because he has the light tan on his head where as she does not. Love the little cuties
You can get a heating pad and put it in a towel. Put it under a folded blanket with the mesh cover. Then the chicks could get under a heat pack. Especially since you have that box built it will retain the heat.

The woods is looking great! It was a jungle when I first started watching. The puppies have already grown. Love to see Matt some more. Could you rig up a heat lamp in the outbuilding where you will have the little chickens? Then they could be outside and still get heat if the temp drops. Run it with a power bank if you have to.

That was really amazing about Sassy being in the chicken pen. Maybe she was missing hanging out with Miss Gray so decided to hang out with the other hens. Pups were pretty good following you around. Good to see how quickly goats are adapting to pups.

Grandpa love how the goats have learned that you clap when out of cookies, they just walk away! Smart animals, the chickens too, know where the worries are, bugs are, those furrbabies are just precious ‘killers’ 😊❤ they really learned a lot in last few videos! Think Sassy has learned where all the good food is finally! Or maybe telling her man ‘your not coming in here without me!’ I sure hope Miss Kitty brings out her kittens soon. The chicks are fully feathered so they will keep their warmth. I raise quail and they winter over outside once fully feathered, and I live in Michigan. They do have their own grow out area so I do not have to worry about any older birds picking on them. They will be happier with more freedom and space. You do as you feel is right for you. I enjoy watching your videos. The puppies are adorable.
Don't worry about the dandelions. They provide first flowers for the honey bees. Puppies are so cute.

You're doing a great job with the puppies grandpa. Great Pyrenees are extremely smart anyway, but the time you are spending with them and teaching them commands is just going to make great dogs. I think it's smart to bring them out in the yard too so if they do get out they won't run away. And they'll know that's their yard too to protect. They are adorable ❤ And all your animals are living their best life. They couldn't be taken any better care of

I swear by corn meal pellets 60% value for your grass to receive the nutrients and it sterilized the weed seeds in the ground, 2 times a year. Your grass will grow fast and very healthy green 😊

Y'all have such a wonderful routine with the puppies! What's so important right now is the love and consistency they're getting, along of course with the basic "training" commands, of course. I love that they're already so calm around the goat and pigs and that they're following y'all wherever you're going around your place.
