He played his entire Career for the Celtics, won 8 championships as a player and 2 as a head coach. So there's no question he bleeds Celtics green. RIP Tommy Heinsohn.

@@chriswalkey2050 Probably because most color commentators aren't ridiculous homers like Heinsohn and Most. It's called professionalism and Tommy lacked it.
Ive never had an issue with homerism its kind of the point. I do appreciate when a homer commentator can still point out good plays from the opposing team and teach you about the other team as well. Its why I like Stacey King so much. There is no denying that man is a Homer, but he is educated and updates everyone with what makes the other team good too.
Somebody should've asked Tommy Heinsohn - why that he - as a former Celtic - would seemingly sound like he was ROOTING for the Lakers while announcing several Celtics/Lakers playoff series. He overpraised Larry Bird (understandably as a former Celtic) and the whole Laker team (not understandably as a former Celtic). His blowhard mindless comments used to make me sick.
There is a Kobe play where he makes a simple jab step or something then scores, while these dudes swear he got away with a blatant travel. Ever since then, I knew these were some biased people.

A random person bias is fine. But like...sometimes your team fouls. Sometimes you think it’s a foul but upon replay it’s not and just admit that. Don’t be a weirdo about it. And he always acts like it’s THE WORST CALL EVER. Homerism is one thing. But that’s just egregious.
MeeBee2020 he’s no different from other homer commentators. He gets shit wrong all the time but so do most homer commentators. If y’all have a problem listening to him then mute the volume.
