Rest In Peace Tommy 🍀
Who else is here after hearing about the great Tommy Heinson passing away? Rest in Peace, Big Guy. Thanks for the memories and laughs!
Yeah...I;ve been a Laker Diehard since the late sixties as a little kid,but I loved Heinsohn. Seemed like he was always there...
He deserves to be in the HOF as a broadcaster
Heinsohn in hall of fame as a coach now , he win his 2 titles as a coach in Celtics in 74' and 76', he was coach of the year at 73' also.
what a fucking speech! all basketball talk and no bullshit. much respect.
every time the camera shows Bill Walton, he's got a big smile. I love him
Walton respects Tommy and is impressed/entertained by his speech - as am I.
RIP Legend 💚☘️
The Basketball HOF deserves a Tommy point.
RIP Legend.
I could listen to basketball wizards like him talk all day. They should induct him again so I could here another speech.
+Candy Man Hey Tommy has a great chance to make it into the Hall of Fame as a tv broadcaster too. So that would be another great speech by the legend.
This guys a bitch. He's so biased and doesn't even analyze games he's just a fan with a microphone crying about calls. Such a pussy
Sure he's biased, but like him or not, you have to respect that he's won 8 championships as a player, 2 as a coach, and is in the H.O.F. as a player and coach, and DEFINITELY deserves to be in the H.O.F. as one of the great commentators, over the last almost 4 decades. Not many people in the NBA has as many rings and accolades as him.
He's biased and the Boston Celtics is the most successful NBA team ever.
@@db_41000 Dont forget 4 as an announcer 81 84 86 08 Tommy is truly a Celtic Legend
I never realized it, but he sounds like Fred Flintstone.
or Brian from Family Guy
Lmao didnt hear it til i read this comment
Kind of sounds like Peter Griffin

Cosa Nosta, Sinatra's lost brother🤣🤣🤣
I've gone to many, many Celtics Games, beginning when Tom Heinsohn was the coach through many other like Bill Fitch, Jimmy Rodgers, KC Jones, Doc Rivers, et cetera. Heinsohn has a terrific basketball mind and unlike many broadcasters has both the player and coaching bona fides. With that he has a terrific insight into the game to the X's and O's on the board. In his induction speech above he used Red Auerbach as an example of the type of coach and try to use the Auerbach Method. He referred to Coach Auerbach's Method to listen to players and see what ideas could be incorporated into the plays from them. He wanted all the ideas out and see how they could make those plays. Now that's a coach! He's only one of FOUR to be so honored as a player and coach!
Rip legend
Tommy was a true Celtic thanks for the memories Tommy absolute legend
The Knick fan, here, couldn't stand his ***, but he deserves EVERY Hall of Fame Enshrinement!
Wow! That was actually better than I expected. He had everyone's full attention. Brilliant speech for those who love basketball. We will miss you Tommy!
Haha, this will be remembered as an enshrinement speech classic. I've quite enjoyed the crop of speeches from this year.
Rest in peace legend
Rest in Power, Tommy
Rest in peace Mr. Heinsohn
Tommy Heinsohn known as abrasive and biased by most non-bostonians, dedicates his Hall of Fame speech to Red Auerbach. A real class act the game will truly miss. RIP
Tom Heinsohn 9 seasons and 8 championchips!!
❤Tommy heinsohn great nba basketball 🏀player, &coach
Loved Tommy when he was doing color commentary on CBS.
The Greatest! He shouldn’t be known as only Mr. Celtic but Mr. Basketball. He will go in HOF as player, coach, and commentator.
It’s always fun to hear all the old legends of the game stories and I appreciate how they retell certain events. It’s even more comical to see comments people make because they weren’t around to see the legends play and therefore, they can’t appreciate the stories. For all you young bucks out there, never assume that the guys back then would have a chance against the guys playing today. I guarantee you, Bill Russell, Wilt, Elvin Hayes, and Cowens, would outwork and outplay most of the young centers today!
,,,Yep.
Rest In Peace man🙏❤️

"I wanna tell ya, that's a challenge for a coach. I get no respect!
Was he talking about Jahlil Okafor?
This speech on repeat. Only Red himself was ever a better "E. F. Hutton". And equally a raconteur.
