- Colorful Colorado is sure living up to it's name! This week we head out of the Front Range mountains, down into Denver, and then West towards Durango.
While we were in the Front Range there was only the slightest hint of fall, but that sure changed as we headed West.
We arrived at our new site on a rainy day while traversing steep, muddy, switchbacks that led to this beautiful site at 9,400 ft. The truck handled it all like a champ!

Slow down and smel the flowers
It don’t get any prettier than Colorado. I grew up in pueblo.
Beautiful adventure! Thank you for sharing your experience. The passage with the cows was a hit.😂
OMG...they were such a pain but so entertaining at the same time. Almost morning for two weeks I would wake up to the trailer being licked back and forth 😅 calf #204 and it's sibling were the biggest repeat offenders.😆
Do u have a load leveler hitch?
We do not have a weight distribution hitch. They limit your off-road capability and honestly I haven't come across a need for one. Our F250 has a built in anti-sway technology when in Tow-Haul mode. Plus the extended tounge makes for a very stable towing experience. Only time I've gotten any sway was in 40 mph cross winds...which you will with any weight distribution hitch too.
