@@TensedOut The first time I played the game I went for high honor but on my second play-through its kind of fun to do whatever you want and "experiment" ~ you should try it yourself!

Failing a mission for taking too much time to loot bodies. When the game encourages looting bodies!
But looting the wrong "innocent" bodies and it's dishonorable and you get docked for it. Smh ug. Which missions cause you to lose from looting bodies ?

A. Encourage looting as it gets you moneyy supplies and jewelry for the collection box
B. Punish you for looting because it takes so long and even fail the mission
C. Make it so that arthurs walking speed and the looting animation are both painstakingly slow.

I am playing the game at the moment, and this isn’t exactly a “mission“ per se, but I had a random encounter where I saved a hogtied woman from being murdered by the Murfree Brood gang, after they had just offed her man. I had an issue where bodies were piled weird so I had to take my time to make sure I looted the “right” bodies, and get my hat that was knocked off after accidentally picking up theirs because it was right next to it etc... so I finished and cut her free, and she was pissed that it took a while to cut her free, so she refused to let me take her to her home lol. That’s happened multiple times already in my playthrough in these random encounters with ladies who need a ride home after an incident.
I re-did the first encounter I mentioned here a few times. She got mad again and refused to ride home with me when I looted her dead man lol. She also got mad in a different attempt when I cut her free right away, but made sure to loot both the gang members after. The only way you can do it “perfect” is looting 1 Murfree Brood before cutting her free, and then do one right afterwards, and be sure to only take up the mission when there is free space for her butt to sit on your horse. IT WAS ANNOYING!
How entitled of her that I saved her from being murdered, and she can’t wait a GD minute!
Logic:
I get shot at. Lawmen do NOTHING.
I fight back. The lawmen try to kill me.
Once, I didn’t even do anything, but a stranger shot at me in front of the sheriff, and I was immediately arrested.
Its dumb I hate when games do this, but if you stand stand next to a lawman and the bullets start flying their way they usually take action.
Who Cares rlly one time I pulled out my gun accidentally after starting a fight and then the other guy started shooting and I ran away and then the law started shooting the other guy instead of me

For me the lawmen always shoot people who shoot at me (if I don't have wanted level).
How about getting a wanted for purely defending yourself

When you’re doing a story mission and one of the characters says : “follow me” ughhhh how I hate not being able to go full speed ffs
Just keep tapping x to go faster and they'll actually pick up the pace a little to stay with you. I do this everything cuz they go so dam slow.
Ikr and when ur in the lead and go ahead they get all hurt and start making comments but when u get left behind arthur dont say no mean comments

Trying to converse with someone with L2 but end up pointing the gun at them only to see them run away/report me or start shooting at me
i can't tell you how many time's that's happened to me, and it's usually someone important like a gunsmith so i'm very loathed to defend myself and i gotta run away, then no gunsmith for like and in-game week >_>

Wanted system in this game is completely broken .
A guy shot a woman on the road and i caught him and took him to sherrif , that dude started shooting me for kidnapping charge .
I did that do. I also tried to catch the peeping Toms in Valentine but I got a bounty for that 2
because the crimes were not reported and no bounty is given to the strangers , so your committing a crime by kidnapping and bringing them to the sheriffs
I once shot a guy who had a woman tied up on the back of his horse and she was screaming for help. When I went over and got her off the horse, as I was dropping her to the ground to cut the rope off of her some dude came by and saw me dropping her and reported me for kidnapping. That's what I get for trying to help, I guess.

I can't believe you didn't mention the annoying law system, every time you do something there's always a witness that knows everything about you and somehow can summon all the lawmen on you

I dueled with someone in Van Horn and I won the duel and the whole town started shooting me..
I was in a duel and there was a person behind the stranger and I shot him instead and the whole town was after me 😂

@@georgefabars7218 yeah you do need a pretty capable gpu for this game. I'm using an rx 570 and on the benchmark with 1080p low and textures on ultra I got an average of 62fps. My cpu sucks so I get like 40fps in Saint Denis which is the most demanding area
I've learned that the horses are programmed to dodge things on their own, so when the player intervenes it becomes a mess. Sooo... just let the horse do its thing and you're good

If you stand around after small infractions and defuse the lawman he will tell you to leave and you won't get a bounty.
Fighting is a small infraction as well as nudging people with horse, disturbing peace and many others.

I took 40 dollars from a table in front of the deputy in Strawberry And I defused him and he told me to leave . And I left .
I took bullet cartridges from the sheriff 's desk , and the sheriff got really mad , the deputy appeared from behind me and told the sheriff " I got your back " and I kept defusing them for 3 minutes . At the end , they told me to leave . And I got out of the building and I was no longer wanted .

The honor system I’m going fast on my horse somebody goes into the middle of the road asking for help i cant stop in time bump into them lose honor. The game tells you to rob the people on the train but you lose honor for doing it doesn’t make sense at all.
It’s because your an outlaw , you have to do bad things you can’t be 100% goodie goodie . Now you can choose to be a good outlaw . Do bad deeds but help others !!!

That is really tragic, they should fix it with a dlc called "Kill Micah,"

One thing that really got to me was in the guarma section, when you had to hold down the walk button, even though it was on a track and you couldn’t go where you wanted. It seemed like they could’ve easily been cut scenes but weren’t for some reason.

Sometimes what annoys me is that I'm just trying to defend myself and witnesses go report me. Like... you saw this guy punch me first and now you're trying to get me arrested for it? Or you saw me fight off 5 O'Driscolls at once, you'd think it's obvious they were ambushing me and not the other way around.
That's the one thing I really don't like. I get attacked by a random guy, I punch back and the police tries to kill me. And if I run away, they're not arresting the other guy? And not just punched, if I get shot at, they don't give a shit either, WTF?
@@Rienafoutredusurnom That pissed me off so much, I went to do a mission that started in a bar, a drunk dude bumps into me, I hit DEFUSE, the guy got mad at me, punches me, I don't fight back, he pulls his gun and shoots me twice, I shot him in self defense and suddenly I have a wanted level >_>
Ya, accidently clip someone's horse and make both of you fall. Then you got a shootout (or in my case disarm and then get charged for unarmed assult)
Not sure how this isn't in the top 10. As this is single-handedly what pisses me off the most. I can't even accident shoulder dump someone without getting into a fist fight then wanted. Like wtf?
After finally finding a bath in Saint-Denis, I pressed triangle to get on my horse but instead choked some woman, which prompted a fight with her husband, whom I punched in self-defence, which got in trouble with the law, so I ran, got tackled in the mud (hope it was mud), had to kill a guy, finally got on my horse after taking three shot from the authorities, and had to ride all the way out of town just to lose them, all of which resulted in a $145.00 bounty. And all I wanted was frickin' bath!
The thing that annoys me most is not being able to get past the southern border of West Elizabeth before the epilogue. Like I know it’s supposed to be part of the story and whatever, but it says they only locked down Blackwater, not the entire state of New Austin and half of West Elizabeth. I feel like there should be ways to sneak around lawmen and explore in remote locations or something as Arthur

Lol, I also found Micah to be questionable from the first. There was just something to him, you cant just ignore. When he started killing all those people in strawberry 😶,that was the moment it sort confirmed for me that this guy is bad news...
i was hoping i could leave him in jail in the beginning i took a few selfies in front of his cell window with him...and left him i didn't go back to the mission until was no other missions i could do.
Even in camp, if you stand near him long enough, he points his gun at you and laughs. Creepy. Good job developers.

I hate the fact that lawmen can immediately recognize you even if you are wearing a mask, I mean what is the point of wearing a mask if it fails its purpose? I really miss RDR 1 mask system, nobody can recognize you and you can do bad things from time to time without honour/dishonour penalties. RDR 2 system is way too forcefully linear.
Eddie-the-kid the only use is looking a little cooler and robbing stores with a back door, if you can slip away quickly through the back, you can escape unidentified.
Mask cools off wanted level quicker,
People around town recognize you by the way you dress and the horse you use. Use a different outfit and horse with a mask on before entering town to avoid getting identified

If I am investigating a killing site and I see a Guy with a mask run away from me I will suspect him from being a criminal

For a game that loves to gloat how you can do whatever the hell you want in it, you have little to no say in what happens and you're always brutally punished when trying to play it that's outside of the linear level design.

I hate it when, especially during missions, you're galloping your horse and you crash into an upcoming wagon or something. Just because you can't see them approaching clearly or because it's too dark, awkward camera angle... this is frustrating af
The awkward camera angle gets me everytime. Especially on slopes
Hitching your horse took a while to get used to and really pissed me off. Id be like "JUST HITCH" and my horse would do tiny laps around the post but i wouldnt get the prompt.
I hate that you can animation cancel when arthur puts birds and small animals on the side of the horse. I always go to stow it and start doing the next thing too soon only to get there and realise im still holding a rabbit.

If you commit a crime with a mask and get a bounty from the police and go back later wearing the same clothes and commit a crime still wearing a mask other NPCs will remember what you looked like

The fact that you can't button up jackets. Arthur looked awesome with his buttoned up coat and then you never get that option. Also the fact that online has like thousands of clothing items and outfits and story has like 20.

I use the lancaster rifle and pump action shotgun on most missions. Yet I hate getting them from my horse because I have to sort through half my guns to get to them.

1. Kills an O Driscoll in the middle of nowhere. 6 policemen pop up 5 sec later opening fire upon you immediately. And not to forget about the unlimited waves of policemen coming in....they did that better in RDR 1 where except for in Blackwater the police wasnt unlimited
while we're on the subject of police - why is there a maximum bounty? (it's a measly $1,500 if you didn't know).
in RDR1 i managed to rack up a bounty of $78,000, where's the fun it putting a bounty cap on?

I'm pretty sure it's because after certain missions the game will go into some time skips like a few weeks later or some months later I believe it goes into that so that's why arthur grows a long beard or long hair

Cole Kelley omg i got so mad i spent like $1000 on my horse, as soon as i get out of the stables someone is in my way. i accidentally run them over and then they call the cops. they then shoot my horse and kill me. i was fuming 😂😂
@@mel2801 if your horse dies you can exit the game and log back on before you respawn and it'll more often than not, come back

One thing that annoys me is I have my weapons on my back and then while I’m riding my horse arthar just puts it away in his saddle and when I get off my horse I don’t have it on me anymore and I have to put it on my back again,you have to hold A weapon to get him not to do that but some places in game will not allow you to get out A weapon
It's a glitch,you can solve this by getting to a gunsmith and equipped in there,then exit the game and enter again
-When u can’t zoom out with carcano rifle during some missions.
-don’t know when is the last possible moment to choose weapons in missions.
-that positioning thing whenever u want to interact with different objects.
-riding/walking out from camps takes forever (beaver hollow especially).

The game's attempt at realism just leads to bad mechanics like the horse kicking you off fir being scared. Honestly. The first game never had this issue.

For an open world game the missions are incredibly linear
When you accidentally hit someone on your horse and everyone starts shooting at you, or you hit the wrong button and accidentally jump to a horse instead of greeting them! 🤦🏻♀️ and evening if you hit surrender, and take one step the lawmen start firing at you like mad! 🤣🤷🏻♀️

The lack of arm wrestling bugs me a little as well haha. Like, they're outlaws, surely they're going to want to "show off" their strength to each other in a "friendly" game once in awhile.
While riding through Saint Denis, people will jump backwards trying to avoid your horse when they cross the street in front of you, but they're just jumping in front of the horse, and then you lose karma...

Sometimes your allies in the mission will just suddenly run off or keep walking away without you and youll get a failed mission. Even worse, most of the time you lose the loot you just looted. Its mind boggling to me how they could:
A. Encourage looting as it gets you money supplies and jewelry for the collection box
B. Punish you for looting because it takes so long and even fails the mission often
C. Make it so that arthurs walking speed and the looting animation combined are both painstakingly slow - as the other characters scream at you to hurry up like you're their child (EVEN THOUGH YOU DO ALL THE GODDAMN WORK)

The only bug I experienced was once at the end of a mission I ran at my horse, accidentally punched him, and then Arthur got on the air and rode off with the wind. Other than that my experience was glitchless

I love the hats falling off. One of the coolest features in the game. My only complaint is that there is no mark on the minimap of where your hat is.

I personally love the way he swaps hats. I always leave with my own, but I generally try on just about every hat on the ground just because of it.
1.The little aspects you have to manage (Brushing/feeding your horse, filling up your cores, cleaning your guns, etc.). They're pretty cool at first but then they get kinda annoying, especially when you have to go out and get gun oil or something like that.
2. When you accidentally grapple someone when you mean to get on your horse.
3. The "Your ouTfitS nOT warm enough ArtHUr!" bug.

You can quick draw when ever you want if you lightly press the trigger to shoot down
