Kind of surprised to see a hook tool for final cuts in the inside bottom. Don't use them much on this side of the pond. I prefer green warped bowls. I do like mine to dry before sanding, which takes a week at the most. You do need a lathe with minimum speed of about 10 to 15 rpm for sanding them out with power tools though. I would worry about cracking if I dried them with a heat gun...

are you heatiing the wood prior to sanding it? if so, why?
I think he has already rubbed on a layer of beeswax? Blowdrying it makes the wax softer, and then you turn the bowl with a rag to polish the softened wax.
So much wasted wood jeez
