I listen to this song every other day in the car, whether i go away from home or back home. Been nomadic forever now and realized home is inside. Home is yourself. So yeah, I'm happy to be home, wherever I go. But it feels ever nicer when it is in a place that resonates with a feeling of being home ;)

I just saw these guys in New Hampshire--they are the real deal. They have a sound all their own. The violin, accordion and pipes create a rich texture. The unison lines are intricate and tight. I wish the bass player and drummer had a chance to stretch out more; they can lay down all kinds of grooves. Alec's vocals remind me of a young Jackson Brown with more power and more range.

Just saw them at a pared back acoustic gig near Evesham. Fabulous. I dont want to single out any performer because they are all super talented but I loved Alec's vocal....Quality stuff

There is Sharon Shannon, the accordionist from Ireland has achieved legendary status throughout the world playing her little heart out on her solo and hardly any of her playing is shown on video -- just all the guys.... wake up camera person!
Don't think it was meant that way Alice,Sharon has a massive following in Scotland as well. Do agree could have done what Nathan does and gives her a big intro for accompanying them.

Many's the time Lucy. When I was in the lifeboats back in the 80s we put in with the Mallaig boat on the way down and back when we were heading south to get the boat worked on. Lovely wee place and some good times..
