    I would like to upgrade to a flip key fob for a 2016 Jeep wrangler jku with the orm remote starter. Any help?

    So the most universal one is the Purple one, because it is complete with a super chip and you can use it with mainly any car as long as you don't need to use a smart remote with Proximity on it?
    I say universal because its has the super chip and it's wireless so easy to set up?
    Also Is wired better than wireless? or doesn't make a difference when it comes to keeping the program and not losing it? Does the wire have a better advantage of retaining the remote program than the super chip?

    Can you remote start with any of these remotes?

  • @jamescc2010

    Good explanation on wired remote(was confused before). Do we need to apply some glue to stick super chip tight inside for these keys?
    I have min key tools and some super chips, with a few clones in the past. I need to get more Univ. keys and reduce key stock, and make more money ant not lose money by doing more remote generation and cloning super chips.
    What are quality of these especially smart keys comparing to OEMs?
    How do you install blades? Do we need pin remover tool?

    • @BannerSolutions
      @BannerSolutions  Před rokem +1

      For the wired remotes that do not come with the chip built in, the place to slot them in holds pretty secure once assembled so no extra work is necessary to keep them tight. You will however need to purchase rollpins separately to install the flip key blades. We recommend a rollpin tool that we stock to make installing them easier, but it isn't absolutely necessary. We walk through generating an Xhorse Universal flip key remote from start to finish here: czcams.com/video/vfhV_a0n7gw/video.html and the blade install is at 8:01 in that video. The Xhorse remotes have proven pretty reliable so long as the correct remote is chosen for the application. It's a smaller sample, but we haven't had any issues with the ones we've programmed for our employees in our videos so far.

      @@BannerSolutions Do Lexus, Toyota, Honda universal flip (blade) keys work for all models and years of those cars? This is great so I don't stock individual keys for each car that is troublesome to stock&programming, and cost more money.

      @@jamescc2010 The universal flip keys work for most of the Lexus, Toyota, and Honda/Acura remote head keys and flip keys. Definitely a good way to add vehicle coverage with less inventory.

    In case of the wired key (I only use the remote for opening my car doors), is it required to register the generated new remote key to my car in dealer shop? Or is it possible to simply copy the current key (currently being used to open my car doors) to a new key using Xhorse tools (without visiting the dealer shop to register the new key to my car) and then to use the copied new key to open my car door?

    • @kimnilsson7501
      @kimnilsson7501 Před 8 měsíci

      Depends on the car. Some (usually older ones) have on-board programming, else it need to be programmed into your car (married to the car). The wired/non wired is mostly how to generate remote with the tool.

      I bought them from Aliexpress, much cheaper and fast at least I am in Southern CA, got in a few days. $16 for 10 superchips for example. Much cheaper than ebay or locksmith supply imo.
