Hello have used your method very successfully. many thanks for your easy to follow videos. Would like to ask though do you ever have to ream the beads I am having trouble getting silk to go through twice. What do you suggest.

Liquid ones are better than the gel type ones. That way it will soak in to your thread rather than sitting on the surface 😊

Im starting to knot each pearl but some of the pearls are too tight to take the second thread what do I do as a work around so I don't have to restring 30 inches of pearls? Thank you.
What do you call the type of clasp you showed with the peacock pearl ?

What if the holes are not all the same size? I have been using a 2 thread but a few of the holes won't let the needle go back through the second time.

Why don't you grab the thread and pull it through the middle instead of using the needle?
When you use good quality silk thread the needle is attached to the cord
I have a very long strand of pearls and the 2 meters on the cards are not long enough so I have a spool of thread and separate needle. How do I start with these?
If you want to include a clasp you can make it exactly the same way, just begin with three or four mts of thread. 😊
Would a thread guardian work in place of the French wire??
