They deserve on top five. Put aside lebron and dwade they just played for 3 seasons together.
I would put them over James and wade for sure.
Definitely deserve to be on the list. No rings... but they were up against the 90s Bulls. And there were no other big names on the Jazz. It was those twos and who else... Hornacek... I couldn't even name another guy on their team.

Tim got 1 in 1999 and Tony was drafted in 2001 and the spurs got a championship in 2003 2005 2007 and 2014 so tony had 4 championships and Tim had 5 championships out of his 6 appearances

They might never won championship, but as duo they are much more iconic than like of James and wade. I think being duo should take priority than number of championship win in this list.

What I like about magic and kareem personally was when magic was still young but already a monster he let Kareem to be the man and then when Kareem got older he let magic be the main man. No ego between them. If Kobe and shaq had this mentality they could’ve won a quadruple or more. They were that good

They are number 1 for talent, but nobody can top Jordan and Pippen because you get perfect chemistry, 2 of the top 10 defenders of all time, and the top scorer all time. There is no duo that can beat them in the 90's.

Despite not winning any championships together, I would still include Jerry West and Elgin Baylor. Those two transformed the Lakers as a franchise, the original showtime. Baylor saved the team from bankruptcy and he and West took the Lakers to the finals multiple times and put on sensational performances. They just had the misfortune of playing at the exact same time as Russell's Celtics.

I love Kobe and Shaq but I have realize Kobe wasn’t in his prime when they played and Kareem and magic they both played i their primes together and led to 5 championships.And then mj and scottie played in their primes together and won 6 nba championships so they are the best

Number 1 should have been West and Baylor because when they played together they both averaged 27 points a game. That is as even a scoring pair there ever was.

For the sake of the context of duos, i wouldn't put those duos with another all star in the team like lebron and wade because all through out their tenure in miami, bosh was a bonafide all star too every year of the big 3 heat. For me the sure and legit duos are shaq and kobe, stockton and malone. Though no championship, again we're sticking with duos and give them credit. They're the best pair that almost won a chip in consecutive years if not for the bulls.

@@heathershirley488 The top. The loyalty they had towards each other and the team is unprecedented. And the amount of records they broke together. Stockton has 2 that will probably never be broken. How do you compare that? Yes they didn't get a ring, but Jordan was a god among children playing basketball. A lot of greats don't have a ring because of that.
