@@DuckeggmikeI think he means you need to use a lighter weight compared to normal shoulder press, which is fine for beginners who are better off starting with 12-15 reps, but wouldn't be as beneficial for guys 1+ year in. I did this exercise as a kid with my York Dumbells! 😏
@@lukea136 york is lit asf. But still doesnt make sense. Everyone should train in different rep ranges depending on their phase of training. If your rep range is high then youre not going to keep the intensity high too. He was suggesting that you should always be going heavy which isnt true
@@Duckeggmike Yes, as I said, I was a kid. Unless you're a serious strength athlete, 8-12 reps is more than fine all year round. What Smarterworkout pointed out was that you'd need lighter weights to do this over normal shoulder press, so there's no point, unless you're a beginner looking to get that initial conditioning.
I don't know what you're doing differently, or if you've changed your diet recently, but you're looking awesome just lately dude! Nice work 💪
Hudson looking shredded!💪💪💪
The Buff Brothers looking BUFF! Uhhh yeah! 💪🏼😎✌🏼
Buff dude is jacked and stacked! 💪
You probably meant PROMOTE further growth there at the end, not inhibit.
I also did an "auditory double-take" there
Hmmm def tossing this into my shoulder routine
Shredded bro!
never seen this variation before
“And inhibit further growth” … that’s the opposite of what I want!!!! 😅 a buff goof I think
I almost thought that was J.P. and was wondering when he got jacked
💪🦾
Unless your a beginner its not great for hypertrophy. Because you have to go lighter.
consider rethinking what you said because that doesnt make sense lmao
