Extremely unbelievable and tragic at the fact that Sweetwater, who pioneered and paved the way of what we have in the NBA today, had to work a cab job until his death and not see a single dime of a pension. What a disgrace by the NBA. Amazing video sir 🙏🏽
I met Sweetwater Clifton along with Walt Hazard in my fathers real estate office located in Los Angeles in 1966. They came to recruit me to workout in the Lakers rookie camp. It was a good time until I got drafted into the U.S. Army.
Great content! god bless
Nice video bro, good edition, really liked it
2nd or 1st to sign? states 1st everywhere i’ve researched. have a capsule coming out that introduces nat earl and chuck. I want to make sure my indie is correct
@@JDunlapTV I want to focus on these 3 known as the holy trinity. harold isn’t mentioned at all in research why?
@@JDunlapTV good point. so for my clothing capsule I want designate nat in a way. previously was thinking first to sign nba contract. but not learning from you he technically wasn’t. what do you think I should go with? I like your first to play in the finals however lloyd was the first to win in 55’ so I want to designate Nat differently. what do you think?
@@JDunlapTV exactly so i’m going with chuck first to get drafted. earl first to play in a game due to him playing a day before chuck. and nat first to play in nba finals. thanks man i’ll be checking in more with you
@@JDunlapTV also i’m going into the first black starting 5 as well and coach auerbach. love informing people through garments you can wear. have a cool capsule going on now with extinct animals. i’ll be in contact in the near future tho my guy
Considering what basketball players were paid back then, I never would have played. Same with football. Only baseball paid decent money
Have to remember, they were both younger then baseball and less popular. That’s why. Kinda like the WNBA is rn but eventually they’ll get paid very good too. As it grows, can’t just pay more money that isn’t available
