Before the Classic Collection, I never played ANY Battefront games. I never had a PS2 or XBOX. I skipped out on the EA titles after listening closely to the disastrous results both EA Battefronts ended up having. Classic Collection announced for the Nintendo Switch, pre-order sale price was on, I placed the purchase, and on Day 1 tried the atrocious online, and tried the Instant Action offline and haven’t touched any more since, got the first update, still awaiting for update 2. If you’re talking about a Switch owner who has no prior background to Battlefront, what’s your take on my point?
I would give Galactic Conquest a try and also the Rise of the Empire Campaign on BF2, because as someone who's never played before this is the best exp you will get. I think the fact that you had no expectation though and still haven't touched it since tells me that even for newer players it's still a catastrophic failure
@jimmyyrob I’ll give those modes a try. When some people mention Battlefront, they rarely talk about the story modes. Heck, I didn’t realize until now that they have a different narrative structure from the films. Now that the update included (some if not all) the missing cutscenes, I’ll jump in. Thanks for clearing it up. I jump from one BF criticism video to another, asked my questions, but people just ignore me and pass by. You’re the first to talk. Thanks!
Great video and love your stuff on Outer Wilds as well!! If you're ever interested in other knowledge-based games, i strongly recommend Tunic! Super interesting framework on that one 😮
This game is bad. I pre ordered it. Played it. Went on steam. Bought the original bf2 for 10 bucks. Downloaded a ton of mods that have new chatacters and so many maps, updated HD textures. Have over 40 hrs into it. I have 3 total hours on this Aspyr dumpster fire.
Hope you enjoy! Sorry it's been a minute I've been hibernating 🐻
Fanbase: Is that legal?
Aspyr: I will MAKE it legal
