Even though I'm not a huge fan of Fortnite, I think that it's unbelievable that we live in a timeline where the likes of Goku Black, Optimus Prime, Anakin Skywalker, and so many more get to watch Eminem perform live right before their very eyes.
It doesn’t impress me it depresses me, all these iconic ip’s and the best gameplay they can muster is a lacklustre shooting game. Could of had a dope fighting game or RPG but nope instead we get Marty mcfly, ryu and dr doom hitting the crop walk and backing out shot guns . The whole thing stinks of energy drinks and corporate piss
I waited 2 hours in queue just too miss the event in the morning, than waited 11 hours to play what was essentially a 10 minute long video with only 3 minutes of Eminem. Truly the Fortnite event of all time.
When they had the Eminem part where he’s huge and looking down at you, that made me laugh hard for no reason. I felt like the one meme where Willem Dafoe is looking up into the sky in horror

I find it really crazy that they even got his facial mannerisms down pat too when he’s rapping. He has always had a sort of “facial tic” when he raps where he closes his eyes twice really aggressively while rapping. This was really cool. Made him feel sort of “alive”. instead of a basic character model with a mouth that moves.

I was playing as the demogorgon with the griddy emote during this event, it was wild. Also during the original end event I was at loot lake and got a good view of getting hit by the meteor.

I really dont like Fortnite (granted I didnt like it before it became the game it is today as well), but I really like how they are working with events in their ingame universe. I wish more game developers would dare themselves to keep evolving their stuff like that, it would be so good for player engagement.
With other streamers that I watched during the event, it seemed that it was showing whichever squad members were present at the time when the Big Bang event was starting.
People disliked it because they thought it was gonna be a full Eminem concert like Travis Scott, marshmallow and Ariana grande, but it ended up being more of a bait and switch

My 10-year-old nephew, his best friend, and I arrived an hour early. Another friend wanted to join, but 30 minutes before it started, the servers went poof, resulting in a 40-minute waiting time. By the time he got in, it was already done. Nevertheless, it was a very cool moment, especially for me, as I had never seen a live event in Fortnite before. It was fascinating to witness the real-time and seamless experience on both PC and consoles, even during the cutscenes. We built this massive tower on a tree to get a closer look at the missile launch, and I've never heard so much screaming and tears of joy from my nephew and his friend. I wish I had recorded the call, but I did manage to snap some screenshots of the event. To be honest, I didn't need a recording because this memory will be long-lasting for both of them and myself.
I did the event with my friends and had a blast, they built a stage and I used my Master of Puppets emote to put on a show for the people waiting for the count down. That was so fun

Fortnite has really changed over the years and this event really just showcased that. There is literally no more lore or storyline, it’s just complete advertisements and crossovers. It’s not all that bad it just feels like the authenticity of that cartoonish game is gone now

the bit for Rocket League 4:52 is probably for one of 2 reasons that I can think of, so it's either it's Epic trying to get more players. they are taking features out of RL (player-to-player trading) and they are just trying to get more people back to playing OR it could be, I don't know if it has been confirmed or not but, as someone who watches a fair few RL streams and video that people post I have been hearing about ROCKET LEAGUE RACING coming but this is only what I got from the RL part of the video

My 10-year-old nephew, his best friend, and I arrived an hour early. Another friend wanted to join, but 30 minutes before it started, the servers went poof, resulting in a 40-minute waiting time. By the time he got in, it was already done. Nevertheless, it was a very cool moment, especially for me, as I had never seen a live event in Fortnite before. It was fascinating to witness the real-time and seamless experience on both PC and consoles, even during the cutscenes.
We built this massive tower on a tree to get a closer look at the missile launch, and I've never heard so much screaming and tears of joy from my nephew and his friend. I wish I had recorded the call, but I did manage to snap some screenshots of the event. To be honest, I didn't need a recording because this memory will be long-lasting for both of them and myself.
I did the event with my friends and had a blast, they built a stage and I used my Master of Puppets emote to put on a show for the people waiting for the count down. That was so fun

Fortnite has really changed over the years and this event really just showcased that. There is literally no more lore or storyline, it’s just complete advertisements and crossovers. It’s not all that bad it just feels like the authenticity of that cartoonish game is gone now

@@mustafaarshad193 i can’t speak for him, but i agree. the original rocket event blew my mind because nobody was expecting it and felt so spontaneous. it wasn’t too over the top like they are now and didn’t try to do too much. still my favorite fortnite event, even for how much less it was
