S1 - Ep 122 - Sleeping Over in Caledon and Visiting Die Woud!

- After exploring Caledon, it was fantastic to arrive at Ammabed Accommodation, where we were sleeping over. The apartment was cosy and exactly what we needed to recharge and get ready for the following day. The host told us about a beautiful wedding venue just outside of Caledon which would be worth a visit. When we visited Die Woud, we saw what they had to offer and it just made us realise what awesome places there are to see. The outdoor chapel and glass building were absolutely mind blowingly beautiful. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #caledon #amabed

The Woud is so lovely never expected something like that. Very different for weddings something to remember. Amazing.
What I love most about the venue, is that nature was left undisturbed for the most part and even the glass building almost seems to disappear amongst the trees. 🌳

That venue is really spectacular, they went to so much trouble with as little disturbance of the natural surroundings as possible. I love that! 🤩

It's spectacular! I can only imagine the beautiful weddings and events they have there, so glad we stopped to have a look around. 🤩
It's a pity you don't show more of these town centres you visit.

That guesthouse looked great, thats all that one really needs, a bed, bathroom and kitchenette, great shade port, I also like the way in which it is designed to provide the guests with privacy as its simultaneously apart and part of the property. Those aerial shots of Caledon were also impressive. The wedding venue too ...something unique and an alternative for those seeking a more relaxed venue
What they accomplished at the venue, is brilliant! They went to so much trouble to create a unique experience, surrounded by nature. 🍂🍁 I'm glad you liked the accommodation, it was compact, but indeed provided everything we needed for one night. Caledon is another town we just always drove through, so we were happy to get to explore a little of it and its surroundings.

Dankie vir nog 'n "pretbesoek". Was al verskeie kere in Caledon, laaste keer 'n jaar gelede, maar het nie so baie soos julle ervaar nie. Sien uit na wanneer julle Burgersdorp, Aliwal, Jamestown, Lady Grey besoek. "Go well".
