Sweet - Fox on the Run
The Sweet covered a few different genres but maintained their glam status. I was introduced to Sweet with this album back in the late 70s. Check out 'California Nights'!

Good riffs
I totally forgot about the interlude. They wouldn't play that part on the radio half the time. I was in grade school when this was always on the radio and I loved it. It was in the same musical sound family as two of my other favorites (because they were just different) - ELO and Alan Parsons Project

SWEET was considered "Glam Rock" back in the 70s and often compared to QUEEN. As for the BASS part that sounds like "Rock With You" by MJ this Song came out years before that. Great Reaction !

One of my favorite bands from the 70s. Brings back memories of my first girlfriend in 9th and 10th grade, and this got played a lot, both on the radio and when we were spinning records, which we did a lot. Hard Rock / Glam Rock.
If you want to get a range for what they were like coming out of the late sixties and then through the 70s, through when this came out in the late seventies, there are three other hits that are all incredible, and I bet you'd like them. In chronological order from the late 60s to the early to mid 70s, and again, Love Is Like Oxygen in the light 70s:

Another great band and a great song. These guys were odd birds. But they made some pretty cool music for sure.
I think this is probably one of my favorites from them. But I can't remember all the songs on the album I had by them. I'll have to go back and listen. I suppose
