#Unsellables
Someone in Sofie's early life was an angel--they taught Her how to speak like a diplomat!
Jerry is such a fine guy. Easy going, compromises, willing to learn. He and Sally really impress me as a couple.
He's got a very positive and fun personality!
"They called me nails back in college." Sweet, sweet Jerry.
I hope Jerry got a nail gun for Christmas that year! :D
I love Jerry.. he's such a sweetheart
Lol
Dude’s hilarious 😆 love this couple
I love how Jerry says "we want to SELL the house" when his wife asks if he wants to leave anything in the house lol
😬 I’m from the south, I can comfortably and confidently say “Bless their hearts!” 😳
Me too and I was thinking the same.
Y’all are wicked!
Same here. That seem sweet but clueless.
Same! Bless them
@@tonibauer2949 Yes!
As someone who has become addicted to watching this show on CZcams, I don’t care for this different format - where so much focus is on the homeowners’ jibber-jabber. I kept wanting to say “shut up and get to work!”
Jerry, when you keep getting the same comments, LEARN FROM THEM!
I wonder how many people decide to stay once the place has been made over
Indeed 😹
from the state of the furniture and the accessories..... you would imagine an elderly couple lived here .
rubberdc I think the lady must've loved her grandmother very much and kept a lot of her things when she passed.
And one who is colorblind.
@@barnabyaprobert5159 I love color....but not a bunch of overwhelming, outdated florals.
@@deborahgate965 my mom did the same thing. We've been trying to rid of it for 20 years lol. It is in excellent condition despite the age. She decorated around it. Everything else is Native American and North Woods and horses. Quite the visual 😊
The dog licking the window is priceless.
That was actually a kick. Pretty sure the dog outside wasn't that bad.
Somehow, the dog and Jerry are like a comedy act.
and again @ 21:45
I haven't laughed this hard in ages!! Pup is adorable! Is Jerry for real or a bit sarcastic??!! Hysterical!!
She is GOOD- gets all on board as gently guides to better choices, involvement and encouragement all along.!
I subscribed a few days ago and have been binge watching since but this is so my FAVORITE!!! I absolutely LOVE this family! They are funny, quirky and sweet! Although their home decor is definitely not everyone's taste they r so real and entertaining to watch. A breath of fresh air. They really cheered me up, such a lovely family, I wish them all the best.
With the new brighter look the house is lovely. I am not a fan of most of the furnishings, but buyers bring their own stuff. The family seems sweet. I wish them the best in their new home.
Okay but why is no one talking about how the Dad sounds exactly like Owen Wilson😂
I love Jerry and family! This guy should be a comedian, he is hilarious. Geaux Jerry!
I bet he's loads of fun and makes his wife laugh. Great couple. Beautiful makeover.
I love the husband's personality! He seems like he'd be fun to hang out with!
Yeah. Very likable.
😂
He seems like a sweetheart
That's what I came here to say. They both seem really, really sweet.
If you don't want any intellectual discourse. Lol
The ongoing theme with each episode, people thinking dirty homes will sell.
I love floral themes. Not every pattern, but I love floral decorating
I liked the hubby also. He is enthusiastic and let's his wife shine also. He really tried with all his heart, but both have horrible taste. So cute! And they would make good friends. Forever friends if they don't get help.
Absolutely!
The kids' art was the hero of this makeover.
Jerry... what can I say? Ummm don’t give up your day job!
LOL
I cannot believe those house prices. Amazing.
I only have one 2 year old daughter.. and um.. her room is 1/10 the size of that playroom, and she has 5 times that amount of toys & clothes just in her room. 🤦🏼♀️ With my husband fighting cancer & unfortunately passing away last year, I didn't have time nor energy to get rid of stuff she outgrew... now I have a heck of a task on my hands.
Oh Jerry. Your delusions are adorable 😅
Lol the husband is so funny. I can't with him. I can’t! 🤣
The husband is hilarious! What a nice family.
This fam. made this episode so fun!
Ha ha ha, now I`m a Jerry-Fan!!! Who needs a Ralph when you can have the real deal?
And yes, a carpet is a problem with kids and dogs... When my husband and I moved in together we bought a white sofa. We were thrilled and proud and congratulated ourselves for our good taste...and so did our black dog :O
lol I love this family, too! Who hasn't made mistakes 😁
Nice changes! I particularly like the white counter tops & the children's painting over the sofa.
The husband reminds me of Owen Wilson. Great personality.
"It may not look professional, but it will look like a man did it." Well, he didn't lie.
LOL
This couple and their little family is adorable. I hope they sell their house and find their new dream house! Best wishes!
This couples style was very old bygone style but they were the most adorable family. I never like the furniture Sophie puts in much but what she can accomplish in a house is pretty amazing for the money she spends
That wall paper! I would line my kitchen drawers with it. Never would use it on a wall!
"Fruit punch is evil." LOL, than don't buy it! There are lots of other juices out there that are even better for your kids.
Omg I used to have a no red juice rule on my house when kids were little. Today I can't even stand apple juice.
Jerry is definitely the star of the show ! Who couldn't love the guy lol !
That kitchen floor Jerry did? I didn’t know “Wreck it Ralph” did DIY videos!
Such an adorable couple. They are people who have a zest for living life their way.
Not only are they re-decorating the house but also educating the owners about the mistakes one can make.
I am learning so much by watching this series.
Wow, Jerry really believes he is a handyman.
Jerry is hilarious. Awesome couple.
This couple seems so young and naive (but gorgeous!) and they really needed some guidance. It is sweet that they assumed everyone would love their floral decor. It probably would have worked in a rustic, country-style rural property but, in suburbia, it didn't match the house's exterior and just looked tired. Well done Sofie!
PS when you are selling a home, I think just about all of the toys need to be packed away. They'll need to be boxed up anyway, in preparation for the move. So, do it early and lighten the workload!
I'm a country girl and Sally had got me beat. Love Ya Sally!
For a young couple, it looks like Granny & Poppa live there!
One of the best makeovers! Beautifully done!
Not only is the big pieces of furniture blocking the light from the window but in some cases it can become a fire hazard because you NEED to have access to the windows to get out if there is a fire and that's the only way.
I wouldn't let Jerry do anything in the house. Nor, would I want his wife to decorate anything.
These people are so weird...perfect for each other!
The kid didn't like the family room-------"where are the toys".
What a great couple so happy. Now the show moved to America (this ep in South Carolina instead of Toronto) we lose Anthony but gain Dave...thanks Anthony for everything!!..I think Sofie got married 2009 had a baby between seasons. This ep. aired September 2011.
Thanks for the info on Thomas. Will miss Thomas.
I would let the homeowners do more of the work, especially that guy who was so keen.
I want you to come and redecorate and redo my home. I love everything you have done♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💯💯
cute couple and everyone has their own taste, i bet their new house will be better, the husband really enjoys learning. The children are adorable!
even with the competitor house, wtf is everyone in South Carolina having dated decor that belongs in a nursing home?
This show is 10+ years old.
That first home they showed when saying "homes in this neighborhood go for"... would be about 2 million in my price jacked city lol I was so shocked the sentence followed with 200 something thousand...
This show is pretty old I think, the houses there probably are way more than that now too haha
I am sure it would be much more today.
Kids do not mean you have dirty carpet... It's called RULES AND DISCIPLINE .
Love the husbands humour, most entertaining. :) Not to detract from the wife of course, I think she is emotionally involved in the house, must be difficult.
A couple with an incredible bad taste, but very happy and confident about it. Funny!
Using middle aged handyman status as a dubious marital aid! LOL.
Jerry is the definition of a himbo. A simple, happy, himbo.
Lol. They reproduced 3x. Scary. The movie "Idiocracy" comes to mind.
These shows are 11 years old. So the original decor was a lot older than we are used to today. Inheriting furniture is a tricky thing. Unless it's 50s modern.
I liked florals back then, too.
18:17 they kept Grandma's couch hahaha just reupholstered
Why does furniture matter when you look at a house you don’t get the furniture if you buy the house. Imagine having to buy furniture to sell a house then what do you do with the extra furniture? That little kid was heart broken he lost his play room
"some people will say its not really their style...so you're cutting off half of the people who could like your house" I can give them this on the wallpaper choices, but they framed that quote around the couch, and like......people are buying the house, not the current owner's furniture (and if the furniture is bequeathed to them because the owner doesn't take it, the furniture can always be sold).
This is why you don’t allow food and drink outside the eating areas. Just because you have children, that doesn’t mean your house has to be destroyed.
"Fruit Punch Is Evil"... I concur Jerry.. I concur.
I'm very surprised. Where I'm from you renovate, when you get in the house. You have use your imagination and see the potential. When they done with the house to sell, I think always - why they did it not, when they moved in the house? Normally you see the house total empty. The secret to a clean carpet with kids is: only eat and drink, when they sit at a table. No running with drinks or eating around the house.
Yes, I agree about children and Koolaid isn’t needed for a healthy diet. If it was hot and I gave mine a rare treat, it was outside for them to drink. I also believe that tables are for eating, not in bedrooms or in front of the TV. Movie night might get a pass for popcorn.
Well, these aren’t actual major renovations. These are cosmetic fixes for the most part to make the place more appealing. I have lived in Florida, California, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Washington state. I agree a clean, empty house is fine, but often it isn’t possible for people to vacate. When I sold my places I realized they needed to look somewhat updated, be organized and clean because I lived in them until sold. Places that look new and fresh and not too individualistic just sell faster. I bought houses at a low price that were a mess and fixed them up after a bunch of people passed them by precisely because they were a mess.
@@tonibauer2949 There are people like you that have vision and imagination and work it. Then there are those who cannot see past less than lovely furniture or decor that wouldn't be in the home once they bought it. I think part of the fun of moving somewhere new is the making it your own process. Sweat equity pays big dividends as you know.
Such a cute episode with the children! Blessings and Peace ❤️✝️
Laughing at the no handles... we still haven't decided which handles for the new kitchen :p
Husband thinks it turns on his wife when he's in DIY mode? Lol.
I've been binge watching and I like Season 1 and 2 better. This season gives away too much in the beginning. I loved the element of surprise in the other seasons
My favorite episode so far.
Such a lovable family. ❤️
Gerry is crushing on Dave.
Good grief! That garage needs putting right! What a mess!
I was just looking to see if this was a comment!! 😂
@@ariadnepiera4838 Lol! As one who'a looking to join the mininalist movement, that garage gave me a heart attack.
Who else loves the sofa and wallpaper? (Not for staging a house for sale)…
20:32 "He likes it"
Kids eyes: what is this nonsense
Good episode. Thank you for uploading.
A little bit of paint goes such a long way. Looks great! Good luck 👍🍀
Wow, you guys are going to give me whiplash from those before and after scene changes. Pan the room with the camera with the before, and then gently transition into the after scene instead of the BAM! IN YOUR FACE! editing, please?
Fun couple!
Travon!!! What a fun fellow! Sweet couple.
What a beautiful makeover! I would want to stay in that house.
Sue here: no no no - do not even suggest painting over wallpaper 😮!!!
Why do I love jerry
Jerry is a good old.southern boy, not always a good thing.
Beautiful family. So very lovely everyone hit to pitch in.
No wall borders ever!!
Best one yet!
I love the sofa and dining room... maybe my taste isn't good as I thought lmao
Also, I love this guy. He's a catch.
Beautiful!
I LOVE JERRY! LOL
13:15 look at all those tubs in the garage 😳😲
Normally I don't like guys who try to be funny, but Jerry was pretty likable. I also liked that wallpaper in the dining room... I'd have yanked up the carpet instead.
Anyone else here in 2021 mind boggled by how PICKY the buyers are? 🤣
What a lovely family 😊
I rather have a green laminate than a painted over counter. Painted counter would be a deal breaker for me as I would consider the entire counter needs replacing and would question what other cheap-outs were used to make the house show but were not going to hold up for a decade.
LOL the estate agent: 'who doesn't like kids?'
Me: 'a lot of people'
I think buyers don't like to see kids stuff because it looks messy and most of the time tacky
This is one of the better transformations
Open house feedback
When you belive nothing needs work......
.....priceless..lol
But it's all just acting, nothing real. There are articles online that reveal just how fake all these house shows are (as well as pretty much all of "reality television'), and how much acting is done, with no intent on the parts of the homeowners of selling their houses at all.
Why do you allow young children to drink anywhere a mess can not be cleaned up properly. If I would have left the kitchen with fruit juice I wouldn't be here to talk about it. They need SuperNanny as well it seems.
