    My bandit 12 once emptied itself of petrol... Good job I realised where it had gone... Only just changed oil as well 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    Yip, just changing mine. I have a Suzuki Vinson 500 Quad bike that had the vacuum style petcock and has been playing up with these same symptom's for some time, watched a CZcams Video on this problem on a Quad and they found a Yamaha standard petcock fitted perfectly to the original holes in the tank. Just picked it up and will fit it over the weekend !

    This is a delicate mechanism and is can do a lot of damage combined with carbs float valves leaks. However it's cheap and easy to rebuild. My 4 year old granddaughter did this rebuild as a game (under close supervision though!)😂

    Looks great! How do you suppose all that crud got in there? The filter looks clean?

      Usually happens from ethanol fuel sitting in it for too long.

    Did yours sound like a vtwin engine while it was having this issue? Mine sounds so bad that it literally sounds like an sv650 or something without an inline 4.

      @DornBuilt  Před 5 měsíci

      Yes it did! It was only running on 2 cylinders bevause the other 2 were flooded

    Ichiban Moto ruined me for every bike repair video ever.. I always see the spork, even when there is no spork..

    Seriously, get rid of this piece of junk and put a simple on/off petcock. Vacuum operated petcock are a solution to an nonexistant problem. I put mine on the off position when I don't use my bike for a couple of days and never had any issues ever since.

      Thats what ive been thinking of doing if i can get it to run right. Ive rebuilt the carbs, petcock put new plugs in and flushed the oil as well as cleaned the airbox and replaced all vacuum lines and caps. But all i can get it to do is idle and
      If it goes over 2000rpm it dies

      @@DornBuilt I have a 2000 Suzuki Bandit 600 and I swear to God these bikes are cursed lol. Do you have a new air filter? Air/fuel screws at 1 and 3/4 turn? Have you synchronized your carbs? Have you checked the compression of each cylinder? Unfortunately it can be a lot of things or a combination of these things. I also removed the pair system and put block off,another useless piece of crap on these bikes,good luck bro.👍
