Kylo has the coolest looking light saber of any that I've seen. Never mind the fact that it looks like something a sith would make - angry, rough, rushed (so they could use its power sooner), but intimidating as all hell
the unstable sounds of it adds to the atmosphere
Kylo's crystal isn't rushed, it's damaged! Because of the damage it's incredibly unstable, and the crossguard design is to keep it from overheating !

Vader has his Respirator breathing sound. Kylo has the errie sizzle of his light saber. Even it’s activation sound is different and attention getting.

Kylo Ren is the saving grace of the Sequels. His character actually make sense.

Yes exactly, for me TLJ has this even more, I've noticed new things about it for years now. TROS is the same though not quite to the same extent, I haven't been rewatching it thinking about it for years like TLJ though lol. Anyway, I just love loving star wars and appreciating the good in all of it. Hate just gets tiring, it feels nicer to like something.

Kylo is a strange breed, having Leia's impatience, bad temper, Anakin's raw power, and Han Solo's independent mind and spirit. Him falling to the dark side is a PG version of his granddaddy, him able to kill Snoke and briefly able to forge a path of his own in TLJ is him inheriting father's Solo spirits and intellect. Yet, it's clear even that path to the Supreme Leader has only brought him anger and hatred, as displayed in ROTS.
So, it seems like our boy Ben is doomed from the start from all the Schizopherienic voices from Palpatine in the manifestation of Snoke inside his head, probably since he was a baby, and because of that, he never had a chance to be happy. His upbringing and hence mental state is and has always been an absolute mess of pain and confusion, his whole life is generally viewed as a bratty failure to live up to his grandfather intertwined with some occasional display of remarkable genius and wit. Definitely more tragic in that regard than Anakin. Kylo's great lineage is also his undoing, and he probably suffered more so than any of his ancestors and overall the most in all Skywalkers. What a depressing end to the House of Skywalker.
If we’re being honest, Kylo Ren/Ben Solo had the power to bring someone back from death, that deed alone will have solidified his name through the ages, the future Jedi and or Sith will know who Kylo Ren was, he’ll be remembered at same magnitude as Sidious and Vader by those future force users, he achieved a power nobody else could, not even the Chosen One himself.

- Future legends in universe. Those names will never be forgotten, just like Revan’s name is still spoken thousands of years after his death, these names will be spoken for millennia, so in the end he really did achieve his goal of living up to his Grandfather, he even surpassed Anakin/Vader in power with his last deed, trust me that will be remembered.
He threw his lightsaber into an ocean, how much you wanna bet some Sith worshipers find that thing and put in on an altar in some Sith Temple. If the Legacy saber was found after falling at the height it did into some random place, on some random planet, then Kylo Ren’s saber will eventually end up in someone’s hands.
His entire life is tragic but nobody will ever forget The Last Skywalker.

I wish Kylo still wasn’t so under appreciated or underestimated among the fandom. I think they focus too much on the negative like him “losing to Rey” and not being as strong as the dark side users before him when he’s had an entire character arc throughout the two previous films. His inner conflict and wanting to be rid of the past (Jedi, Sith, empire, republic, rebellion, resistance etc) make him a very interesting character to me. And I look forward to seeing how his journey ends in rise of skywalker if it’s handled well. (And before anyone even starts I know about the leaks regarding his fate but I’ll wait till the film confirms it).

Apparently Kylo's main theme is the last part of Palpatine's theme, so in a way, he's a direct continuation from the Emperor... I felt his theme is more graceful and sinister than Imperial March.

@@alimk235 Agreed, I think overall Imperial March is the better piece because it conveys so many emotions, both positive and negative. The original Imperial March in ESB sounds overwhelmingly heroic and dominating, it doesn't really give you the impression of how vile and sad Vader is inside, but when it's slowed down it's pure melancholy.

Reason why they are few and far between is Disney's agenda pushing disgrace they made star wars into. Undoubtedly they could have made the sequels really well done, they got a mega budget and company behind them. The writing is terrible and their treatment of the original characters and story and even dreadful treatment of the fans from the start is why star wars is sequels are dead. Along with most of Star Wars fans. This is however a very good music track. Music is one thing that always came out 10/10 in every SW movie and show.

A villain who had changed sides is not cool enough, to be a true villain one must rid themselves of attachments by riping it themselves. The Dark Side is a big deal after all, once you head that path there's no going back. He had too many emotions going on inside him, that's how he lost to the first fight with rey nod because of an laser shot.

He is not really a great character. He is just some wannabe vader with aggression issues, he does not have any more personality than that.

His aggression and issues come from his personality, it's not the fact he's a 'wannabe Vader' he was manipulated by Snoke and Palpatine into joining the dark side. He found Vader's helmet and through it Palpatine whispered to him about his grandfather, Darth Vader NOT Anakin since they're considered different people. Luke saw in Ben's mind what he thought was a quest for raw power of the dark side but it was just manipulation from Snoke and tried to kill him making believe that Luke had betrayed him leading him further down the dark path.
Throughout the entire trilogy Kylo Ren had some eternal conflict, from killing his father to strengthen his power of the dark side in 7, killing Snoke to take control of the First Order or to join forces with Rey in 8 and then in 9 finally come to terms with the fact he had been influenced his entire life and the regret he felt after killing his father. Kylo Ren had the most character development out of anyone in the sequel trilogy, so I dont to want to see he has no personality or anything like that.
@@dogswifty7800 I never made the link between him wanting to be Vader and his aggression issues, I just named the two only things he is personalized by. Even though he was manipulated killing and anger is not all a character needs. Kylo Ren having the most character of the sequel trilogy is also not a great achievement.
@@heinrichvonschnitzel8600 There is no achievement for anything this trilogy does. Its uninspired, lame and each new movie very much retcons everything that happened in the previous one. Disney had no plan, no ideas and when it came to TRoS they reused everything they could from the original trilogy. The sequel trilogy is terrible, period. I was trying to justify somewhat, why Kylo Ren is the best written character even if most of his story arc is rushed and compared to other characters in the saga, not very good.

I’m calling it now the same thing that happened to the prequels is gonna happen to these movies. We already have the hate phase like the prequels did but then as the people who grew up with the sequels will grow up and have a voice and talk about how under appreciated these movies are and then we’re gonna be in this phase of praise we’re in with the prequels.

Eh, I disagree. The prequels has their moments but in my opinion, but the sequels are hardly special.

@@embo1548 definitely not the originals. The originals were loved immediately by many. Many people were impressed with parts like the Darth maul fight and Obi Wan Vs Anakin. Most people will agree that the story writing was terrible even today. The prequels grew in popularity recently because it had so many memes. The sequels would have risen in popularity along with the prequels if people truly enjoyed the sequels. The sequels though have smaller meme potential, have decreased in popularity, and at moments spat in the faces of the fans. The prequels May have initially failed, but at least Lucas knew what his story was. The prequels were flawed, but they weren’t confused messes
