yes almost loosing the rod tip did added extra drama to the session.... over the moon about picking up chub on cranks at this time of year!!! Part two coming this week!
@@theoccasionalangler6956 Haha yes, that was close. Our local river is little more than a stream, so its sometimes an option to wade or swim across to retrieve lures (only in the summer tho!). Glad I just found your channel, I've subscribed.
Great fish can be caught in surprisingly small windows of opportunity.....lucky you had the foresight to use that gravity angle to retrieve your rod ...
