Winterizing A Can-Am Ryker: Battery Tender Plus Unboxing + Install

Despite living most of my life in Georgia, I have never owned a motorcycle here until now. Dealing with winterizing my Ryker wasn't even a thought that crossed my mind when moving back up here. However, when the battery on my Honda Monkey would not start due to sitting out in the garage during this cold weather, I realized that I would need to take some precautions to prolong the life of my motorcycle batteries during the winter months. When I installed the battery tender on my RYKER I ran the charging dongle out the front in the area betw seen the hood and the body. Dongle is only about 4 inches, so it is easy to find when needed, and easy to push back under the hood when not needed/riding.

You always disconnect the positive first while it’s grounded , then reverse when hooking it back up… keep practicing
