What an realistic and detailed work, it seems real, it looks like a living eagles, at the same time, you know sculpture, painting, you have a great sense of art and space and proportion, you know different materials, a combination of engineering and classic art and infinite creativity, congratulations for your great artistic talent, I would really like to be able to make these beautiful sculptures, thanks for sharing it, amazing talent!!!!

I really appreciate that. I try to make tools and innovate wherever I can. Often I'll try to think of how pieces were made in antiquity with basic materials and how I can combine those methods with modern materials.
Thank you. Yes it is a tremendous amount of work. It always gets to a point that it seems to be overwhelming. As things start to come together, and I think of how the piece will be viewed for decades I realize I can get it done.
They are amazing birds. I have never seen one in life. I lived in Missouri for about 12 years. I was on the edge of a bluff about twenty stories above a lake. Bald eagles would regularly hover on the wind as it crested the bluff. they would be at my eyelevel about 30 to 50 feet away. also they sit in my trees just outside my windows. so interesting was the subtle sounds they make, so many more than the screech you hear in the movies. Bald and golden eagles are very similar.
wow you are so lucky over here I worked at a centre and we used to fly a bald eagle they are quite a chunky bird but with all fish eagle they tend to face bite and it really hurts but what you do is fantastic i looked at your web page and the whale shark must have taken you a while to do but again looked fantastic

Yes I can make another casting. As a centerpiece I would need to design an element to act as a perch and base for the piece.
