This is what my junior year highschool teacher expected the class to make with popsicle sticks and glue. Within a weeks worth of time (we would only have her class 2 or 3 days a week.)
The skill of many years is the sharpest chisel. Hands feel the sound of the blade guided through wood. From the courage of the hammer's first loud blows up until the quiet tiny caresses of a finishing edge. The eyes remember.

All I could see was a plain block of wood, but you obviously saw the dragon hiding inside it. Sculptors are amazing...
