I love love love Home Improvement! A few years ago I was at Bed bath and Beyond in Connecticut and realized that the lady in front of me was the actress who played Jill. I wanted to tell her how much I loved the show but she was very busy and obviously buying a ton of stuff for a new home so I kept silent.
I used to watch this show. Haven’t in a long time . I would have never ever spotted Patricia “ s husband out in the audience. What a find Rick ! Enjoyed! 😂📺

I got to see a taping of Home Improvement and it was quite the experience.
We were there for about 4 hours. The show crew hand picked the Tool Time audience.
Earl Hindman ‘’Wilson’’ came by to say hello to the audience and thanked us for coming.
Love Home Improvement. Also like the other Tim Allen show. Saw most of his movies too.
Several of the cast members of Home Improvement made guest appearances on the other show, including an episode in which Tim played a dual role as both Mike Baxter and his character from Home improvement, Tim Taylor.
I was watching this show while I was in labor with my daughter. She finally came out during the closing credits of season 2 episode 4. Granted, I don't remember much about the episode on the day, but I have watched it later on.
One of my favorite shows! Did not know he was in that audience but I guess I'm not surprised.

One of hubby's fav shows. Patricia's husband in the audience is new to me. Did I ever mention that a theater acquaintance was in a Connecticut play production of THE GRADUATE. Of course, Patricia was Mrs. Robinson.

Another spouse appeared in the show. Richard Karn’s wife, Tudi Roche, played Carrie, one of Jill’s sisters. Carrie was the sister who was the photographer and travelled the the world.
Another tidbit, Al married Trudy at the end of the series. Same name as his real wife, but a different spelling.
I've seen him in other shows too good pickup Rick.
Ray Baker starred on a few episodes of the original "The Equalizer" with Robert Woodward.
He was also the "villain" in Total Recall
I keep holding hope that you'll cover Miami Vice in the near future. Yes, I know it was filmed mostly in FL and NOT CA. But still...it's an iconic crime drama that a lot of us watched in our teen and even preteen years.

when this episode first aired on tv i saw him but didn’t know anything about him
I know a voice actor who has done work for several studios. He says that if you are between takes, you will often be asked to "Body", that can be fill for a studio audience, background extra or pretty much any non-speaking role (their voice belonged to their current project). He said he has appeared (un-credited as all extras are) in hundreds of movies and TV shows. Usually he would be offered a small amount of cash as compensation, but he said he wouldn't accept it and just do it as a professional courtesy. It's neat to be watching a movie like The Stupids and seeing him in the audience of the I'm My Own Grandpa scene, kinda like a surprise Easter egg.

🔨Rick Nineg do you remember the Home Improvement🏠backdoor pilot and spinoff with Dave Chappelle and Jim Breuer. The show was called Buddies and Christopher Garten replaced Jim Breuer. It was cancelled after only 5 of the 13 episodes produced aired! A DVD of the show was released and contained 10 episodes including 8 which never aired!📺📼🔧🙋

the show does have a continuity flaw in later episodes , brad hurts his right knee and a few episodes in a row that is shown , but later on in another episode brad hurts his knee again and is worried about be able to play again but its the left knee that they are focusing on

Nice video, as always, but I was not a huge fan of Tim Allen, although I DO like Last Man Standing. I didn't like Jill at all in the show (sorry), and I use to watch the show when it came out, but lost my liking after a while. Nevertheless it IS interesting what you find out about the shows and post them for us all. It IS appreciated.

Mickey Jones who played "Pete Bilker" (K&G Construction) was an actual drummer in real life. He played with Trni Lopez and Bob Dylan was a founding member of Kenny Rogers First Edition band. Pretty cool, huh?
He was really cool when playing in the KB Construction band on the gas cans (drums)
