No massive spec house can replicate the providence and history of an estate like Casa Encantada. The house and grounds are truly spectacular.
Am I the only one that thought “meh” lmao obviously luxurious and grand but kinda tacky to me
Terrific Tour. You let the property speak for itself.
Hi Josh ,
So beautiful from a bygone time of old ,these estates need to be preserved and cherished.
So many houses have been destroyed in preference of white boxes I love the way you treasure these beautiful buildings thankyou Josh❤
Now this is how you present an iconic estate like this. From the initial entrance gates to the front door entry down to the choices of music. It depicts the true magnitude of grander of this fine specimen of a home. Well done Josh.
Nice history, nice acreage, no neighbors…….but I can’t even IMAGINE the maintenance on a property like that!!
If you have to ask, you can't afford it. Nor me.
Josh and the EM Team have created top quality Film! Thank you 🎬
Thank you Josh and Team. Wonderful presentation.
The video is amazing . It showcased the home lovely... Its a magnificent charm is show stopper. This is really an iconic home. Josh Flagg is the right person to sell it. Love the passion he shows for refined architectural homes...
Beautifully filmed. Well done.
Wow. This is incredible on every level.
Well done Josh. This one has it all.
Wow….!!!!!! Double WOW! I love how you describe the historic significance of the house. Stunning.
Very well done to let the home speak for itself. We don’t need some over hyped realtors talking like they’re at a Las Vegas prize fight.
🤩This is Luxury at its Finest. Classy ⭐
This is something very different, wow! I love how you gave a tour and let the estate speak vs being a realtor and talk us through it! Absolutely stunning! Thank you for the upload! 🙏🏼
I'm will to bet that none of the people making comments are looking for a $195 million estate, or that any of them have a $100 million listing...just sayin" Also, don't know about membership, or HOA, or whatever it's called there, but looks to me to be about 10 full time servants needed. Let's face it, those people are not shopping on CZcams. Thanks for showing us Josh, we'll never get to see these places otherwise. You really need to do a film series on Old Hollywood Architecture, before it's all gone, please?
You could not possibly be more right. I've been in the real estate industry for 14 years and billionaires are the only micro, MICRO audience for these psychotically priced & over valued properties. And there's never been more of those billionaires simply hiding their (corrupt??) hundreds of millions of dollars in places like this and NOT living in them than now. Verrrryyyyyyy f'ed up industry and day & age.
Stunning property. Curious what the yearly taxes and monthly upkeep is for a home like this? Probably 5K for monthly grounds upkeep.
Absolutely stunning Josh. Nice presentation
Peter Marino just re-imagined the new Chanel boutique on Rodeo Drive.
An elegant masterpiece.
thank God they didn't destroy the interior with contemporary lighting . It's very well done. Exceptional ‼‼
As an architectural designer, there actually is much contemporary lighting being utilized here as part of the design. Modern LED’s possess so much great technology that enables a great lighting designer to effectively hide or minimize the visibility of the fixtures, as well as choose the intensity and color temperature, so that you rarely notice the lights, rather, you are aware of the objects and spaces being lit and the mood conveyed.
Truly the quintessential estate on the west coast. Spectacular !
Beautifully crafted video of a magnificent home. Even the music used was great (Ravel String Quartet). Good luck, Josh with your sale.
A lovely presentation.
This house is obscene in the face of growing homelessness in every state in the nation, but most especially so in California!
I'm selling it because I keep getting hit in the head with golf balls...
Spectacular presentation of this estate!
Wow josh, Amazing property , ❤❤❤❤
This is a gut and remodel. The music and close ups are good.
Gut remodel....how?
Beautiful! Please do a longer tour or have Enes do a tour of this beautiful estate.
$195M is still insane. For a Mansion not even a Palace
For 195 mill, do you get a membership at Bel Air Country Club?? Just curious, since I am a golfer and no longer working. I am short by 193 million FYI.. Awesome video and presentation.
I'm an independent Professional Photographer here in the midwest and I've shot lotsssss of magnificent historic homes in the area and know what I'm talking about when it comes to truly exquisite houses and estates. This is definitely in that category, however "the most important" home in the country is ridiculous. A important, stunning & historic home, yes, "THE" most important, no. Very nice job on the video though with no narration.....the music was perfect and no narration let the photos do all the talking.
I was in this estate several times after Mr. Hilton passed away. What happened to the furniture that had remained as part of the house from its founding owner, it was stunning?
Wow!!
You give me 200million dollars and I’ll give you a money pit the owner is currently trying to chew his own arm off to offload on the next sucker
Fit for royalty
You would build your town in Africa with that price tag
❤JF❤
* * Josh...basically you're expected to pay about $100M for history, .................................................
.............................................................................about $65M for location and about ....................
.....................................$30M for the mansion...!!! ....................................
............................. Will sell for way less than $100M....................!!! * *
Is Josh Flagg driving a Porsche? I'd better write this one down so I don't forget....lol.
I saw the Targa parked out front.
Is this the house that the Hiltons refer to as BrookeLawn? Where Paris Hilton got married?
No, Brooklawn is a different estate that the family owned in Holmby Hills. Although they owned this estate as well.
How many people has enough money to buy this house?
Probably one or two foreign royalty.
Dentro è brutta😮, Spelling Manor Number 1✌️
I only have $ 195

How many wonderful rooms can you wander alone Cognac in hand a slur up on one’s lips as you pass by a mirror and think you have Company. Great people with a Right to brag and show room after room of selfish indulgence while other sleep on cold streets no food no clothes fill a wine cellar that’s holds Millions of Dollars worth of Grapes turned into wine and grapes grow free Room after Room of opulence Finest of silks and fabrics while the lower class shop at Dollar store so glad you rich people keep the lower cast of people in jobs and there place ,the lower class DO the building and draw up the house the wires and plumbing gardening tile fittings diggings of pools marble, tops cut to size ,,repairs as we as grow and harvest the food that they eat the lower class build there Opulence,,,,,, wake up
The most important house in the United States is the house that is used to shelter the poor who have no home. This is nothing but an empty shell made pretty to distract those who dwell there from the plight of others just a few miles away.
$125M-$140M... The house is lovely, but the maintenance on the property looks to be lacking.. it needs to be a lush green, it's got a yellow tint in some areas. I would redo the entire yard, if I purchased it that is.
It's called patina, you probably haven't read Truman Kapote, but the term depicts old money, aristocratic decadence, even a touch of decay, but at the same time, refinement and impeccable taste. The opposite is nouveau riche style, with new healthy look, lush green, yellow, other clear colors and middle class tidiness.
@@sasasimic5124 what it says is, they can't afford to keep the lawn up.. old money should be able to keep things green as well.
@@sasasimic5124 even the lawn in the back looks splotchy.
@@a.kaiser8965 yes of course, I noticed it all at the first glance, but what I'm saying here is that it reminds me of some old castles and palaces, or even big houses, especially in Europe where I live, which were built in such a scale and with such grandiosity that successors and next generations just can't keep up, like some facades in many Europe cities, and it's generally accepted that while old money is diminishing, refinement and class are increasing.
Nope
It's a Tear-Down . . . Land Worth 92 Million . . .
Beware of the Golf Balls . . .
🙄 You are too goofy...
🤯🤣😡Take your meds. NOW.
I know a better one thats half the price.
😂
yeah u kinda miss the point...
Embarrassed! What a waste of money! Tacky!
Couldn't watch because if the music.....
