NEW 72v ebike coming to that channel in 1-2 weeks! 🤙
This 72v electric bike runs on a high discharge battery paired up to a BAC4000 controller tuned to force 12,000w into a mid drive motor. The current setup is 137 lbs of unhinged pure adrenaline. It's risky, but this is about the most fun you can have on two wheels.
This high power machine started from a Sur Ron which is very similar to the new Talaria Sting R MX4 - but this one is amped up quite a bit more. Only a few parts remain from the original bike, such as the frame, the motor, the wheels, and the rear suspension. If you're thinking about upgrading a Talaria Sting R MX4 or a Surron you may find inspiration and room for improvement in this build.

The point is that the ebike can do thar most motorcycles and cars can't.
But now people are crying for it to become ANOTHER motorcycle.
When it's not. No cars or motorcycles can take trails or paths not normally taken.
You can literally get off and walk with it to get off the saddle and stretch and it wouldn't look out of place. Can't do that on a motorcycle or car.
Cars or motrocyles Can't take narrow trails or multi use paths.
Cars and motorcycles aren't as slim or as nimble and they take up much less space on the road.
Ebikes even with throttle can be and do so much more.
But turning it into another electric motorcycle literally neuters it.

@@Mash3OH3 these 40mph+ bikes ruin it for the rest of us though. They are too fast for tight pedestrian/cyclist multipurpose trails and their tiny wheels+massive torque damage and rip up the trails for mountain bike paths.
Coming from a emtb owner these should only should be used OHV/ATV trails or streets. Not just for the rider’s safety and enjoyment but for everyone else’s too.

Sounds like a you problem. I've never seen or experienced any ebike rider do 40mph and up on a public trail.
Just cause you have a bias towards them doesn't mean they have to stop using those trails or paths. It's public.
In the end it come down to the rider. Personally I don't mind going slow. In fact I like going slow. Slow and controlled movements is just as fun.
If I want to go fast I go on the road.

My nephew's fried used to ride a 125cc scooter to work. A bit heavier than your bike, and nowhere near its level of performance.
He fell over going round the corner to the road to his house. Sat looking up at the sky for a moment, had a look around, thought "oh, look... my shoe is on the road back there".
His foot was still inside his shoe, severed at the ankle.
I would hesitate to call you an idiot - you're an adult and you make your own choices. But the brakes on your $10,000 ebike are completely inadequate for something with its level of performance and you aren't wearing safety gear. A motorcycle boot (you ARE riding a motorbike, don't pretend it isn't one) has armour to protect you. No-one who knows how to ride a motorbike would ever ride one in shorts. That's really, really stupid.
If you come off that thing at anywhere above 40mph, you will be very lucky if you end up in a wheelchair. People are fragile.
    Please think about this.

The ariel x-class 52v (on sale for $1800 right now) and a 5000w conversion kit (about $1000~), plus a second battery (varies) will get you up to around 62mph. This is just off the top of my head, I'm sure there's many other options for the x-class. Those tires arent very fat, either. Unless you are waddling that thing around like a kids balance bike, those aren't " power assist" as they aren't assisting any effort. They are just power modes, same as you find on most modern motorcycles. Calling this thing an ebike is kinda a joke. A bycycle, by definition, has to be pedal driven. This guy has got the same "pedals" i have got on my Tenere 700. Accept i would call them foot pegs. If the cops saw me riding anything like this on the road where I live, they'd clap me in irons, turbo illegal unless you got it homologated as a motorcycle. Probably also in some places in the US, not sure. But if you mow someone down with this at speed, it would probably have pretty severe legal consequences.

Goes for modified cars and such too in usa.

My guess its about 100 km/h, never did more than 80 though, I think, cause its an off road e-scooter so its not very stable at high speeds. I love driving it though and most of the time, I cruise along at about 25-40 km/h. That's more than enough for normal driving. The great thing about it is it climbs and keeps accelerating up any given hill here in Norway and it has a 2 KW/h battery providing me with long range.

Dude, 12 kW and ~55 kg, that's a serious motorbike. That's about the same power-to-weight ratio as the old Aprilia RS250 - a 250cc 2-stroke (so similar power to a 400c 4-stroke) - which was a very credible track-bike. The RS250 of course had a *pair* of 280mm discs, with 4-pot calipers on each (it did have more weight to stop - 136 kg or so, with proper racing pipes).

For 10,000 smakers I could get a nice used 1200 Kawasaki and have a lot of fun on two wheels and have about 5-6K left over to spend, I would not have to worry about someone snatching it and throwing into their pickup. For sure the ebike is cool and unique and you can get away with riding it in places where you couldn't take a motorcycle but you can't take any passengers and the like weight brakes, bearings and axles might cause a horrible accident. The overall build is lightweight and will fail eventually especially going off road or jumping or running stairs. I see a lot of ebikes catching on fire and that would be a hell of a way to burn 10K because I'm sure its not insured for that amount. Very curious where this sits with regulators... if bike then no license or registration, if a motor vehicle then you need plates, insurance and a driver's license? Pretty wild machine, incredible burnouts too... ride safe man.
