Well, this is it! The final walk in season 1. I can't quite believe how fast that has gone. And what a way to finish. The Scandale Horseshoe makes up the final walk that breaks up the Fairfield Horseshoe. Stunning views throughout the day and once again I was joined by my best bud, Finn.

I wanted to add another comment. It would be nice if you combine your amazing skills of photography and Finn's adorableness into a calendar of the places you hiked through with Finn as the main focus.
Brilliant series, love the bits at the pubs too, but have to say Finn stole the show on this walk, such a lovely dog - looking forward to the next one

Just stumbled across your series ( well, you know what I mean!). Fantastic way that you manage to capture the atmosphere of the walks. We love the Lake District, and walking the fells (alhtough perhaps less ambitiously than you now, as the years take their toll). You manage to get the feel of the Lakeland walks captured wonderfully in 30 minutes of CZcams. Many thanks for the effort that you must put in to acheive that!

For years I always wanted to hike and camp but my husband didn't want to because he told me he had enough camping being in Vietnam. He was 9 years older than me. We were married for 17 years. Now I'm 61 and My daughter and my grandson don't like to camp either. They don't like bugs and no cell service and WiFi. 😂 So I really enjoy your videos. Also go team Finn! 😊

Thanks for Season One. Been on all 214, but not necessarily along the same routes as you. One of the best aspects of Wainwrights is there are endless ways up and down. Many of us are on “permanent rounds”.
I’m looking forward to finishing the 214, so then I can REALLY start exploring, without worrying about hitting a certain number of peaks on a walk 🙂

Another great video. These eastern fells have flown by. I remember walking up to low pike and high in the snow a few years ago with a lovely hangover courtesy of a few drinks at Yha Grasmere the night before. Good times!

I did Red Screes and Middle Dodd on Sunday from Kirskstone in the rain with a few more. Scandale was a nice valley but Harstop Above Howe and high hartstop Dodd were underwhelming. Enjoying the series.
Lovely stuff. Very much looking forward to venturing east of Kirkstone. Don't make me wait too long, okay?
First time watching. Enjoyed the watch especially as I was on the route last Friday 21/10. Bit craggy weather wise at scandals head but then went on up to Fairfield and down to Grasmere to Tweedys 🍺 (well two as last day of week’s break in Ambleside. Rocks very slippy around most of the Ambleside and Langdale fells. Take care.

Great series, really enjoyed it and found some great places for photography along the way. It'll be good to get away from the crowds and I think your videos will help people to spread out more rather than hitting the popular spots. I prefer the cold weather for this reason too. Separates the photographers and Hikers from the tourists a bit. Not that I've a problem with that it's just in summer it gets over run a bit for me.
That bottle is amazing buy the way. My collie would love that.

It’s been excellent viewing mate, just right and your content is perfect. A hiker myself but mainly in the Yorkshire Dales as i live close by but have done many in the Lakes, can’t believe I’ve not been this year but that will change for sure next year…haha hallowe’en is around the corner 😂😂😂👍
The carpet slippers hill, Black Coumbe...did you ever visit? Was my local fell a while ago and I do miss it.
