FMS Ranger 1220mm EP PNP from Banggood - Part 6: First Nice RC Flight of 2022 (with a larger plane)

I ordered this mid-size model of the FMS Ranger series from Banggood's U.S. warehouse on December 19th 2020, and it arrived right on time in the morning of the Christmas Eve, on December 24th. When I was placing the order, it was on sale for $125.90, and with the shipping and insurance it cost me $130.11. It was quite a bargain in my opinion, considering that it came with regular landing gear as well as a float set. Also, it is in PNP (plug-and-play) format, needing only a battery, receiver and transmitter to get it to flying condition. It also has a Reflex stabilization system, although I am not a big fan of stabilization in these types of relatively large and stable airplanes.
The receiver I put in this plane is a 4-channel Corona (CR4D 2.4GHz DSSS) receiver, which I bound to my RadioMaster TX16S OpenTX transmitter. Here is the video demonstrating how to bind them:

The first maiden flight was cut short due to the propeller and spinner separating from the airplane during a climb due to a loose prop nut. I fixed it quickly with properly-sized nut and washer I got from Home Depot. However, I did not realize that more serious issues were awaiting me during my second attempt to maiden this airplane:

In this video, we finally get a dry and warm enough day with manageable wind in Massachusetts for RC flying, so I am opening my 2022 RC airplane flying season (not counting the small parkflyers) with this fantastic, well-mannered trainer-style airplane.
