Journey songs are hard to sing, singing high notes again and again!! AP got that awesome natural rasp when he sings ballad songs, it's full of passion and emotion, it's mesmerizing !! !! Journey has the best instrumental musicians and perfect backing voice to complement AP !! Really iconic !! I have experienced watching Journey with AP on LIVE Concerts many times and it was an incredible experience each time! Watching Journey LIVE Concert is such a treat--- for those who have NOT done it, Try it--it's an incredible experience !!!! This version of Journey is starting to show serious wear,as things don't sound as good as they used to, even Arnel sounds off here..maybe it's towards the end of a tour cause these guys just don't stop and that weights on the vocalist and drummer plus the rest get burnt out, but look at Neil Schon as he's already playing concerts with another version of Journey with Deen and Greg back in the band doing early classics and of course latter day hits and deep cuts, so we'll see how much longer this version lasts?
Please do not judge Arnel as you heard him on this video grab. Judge him if you attended his concert personally. Or better yet, if you can sing better than him and be Journey's new vocalist.

東京で２回、仙台で１回観てますが、アーネルのライヴはハズレが無い！これって現場叩き上げのミュージシャンならではの
本物の実力なんですよ。
だからこそ他のメンバーも自由に楽しく演奏しててクリエイティヴィティを刺激され、かつて手を入れたことの無い「Open Arms」にもリアレンジをくわえてるんですな。ある意味では今がJOURNEYの黄金期と個人的には思っています。
私の母が高校時代の時にジャーニーの大ファンでその影響で私は小学生の頃からジャーニーのライブ映像を見せられて育ってきたけどその時に初めてこんなにロックバンドてかっこいいんだと感動した。そして、今は母とジャーニーを見に行くという夢がある。今はもうスティーヴじゃないけど、アーネルが入ってくれたおかげで私の生きてる時代にもジャーニーが存在し続けてくれた。声もほんとにスティーヴだしその時代を生きているかのような気持ちになる。ほんとに感謝したい。私の永遠のロックバンドだ。
