Burgenland is the smallest of Austria's nine federal states. Eisenstadt is the provincial capital - where this concert takes place at Esterházy Palace as part of the Austrian ORF program. The Austrian Doodle"D'Schintagruabn" is presented by the singer Agnes Palmsiano, an expert in the Austrian Doodle and also a great artist in popular and classical music.
In contrast to yodeling, which tends to be sung in rural areas, outdoors and often unaccompanied, doodeling is presented indoors and accompanied by instruments.
The ORF Tirol folk music program "Mei liabste Weis" has been broadcast throughout Austria since 1988. In 2003, the idea was born for presenter Franz Posch to play music himself in every episode.
