Well Weihrauch must be doing something right. The HW35 is now 73 years old and is still being manufactured. It holds the title as the longest air rifle in continuous production 1951 to the present day. It was the first to feature the Rekord trigger which is over half a century old and has never been surpassed in a sporting air rifle. I believe in the old adage: "You get what you pay for." Enough said!

Weihrauch is a better option because it is "made in Germany". This means high quality. As we say here: das Produkt ist teuer, weil das Beste ist". Also quality has a price. Good video mate, thanks for share.

Hats off to you Chuck for calling it by its name properly 👍👍👍 Why Weihrauch? Easy answer youre buying a quality airgun of wood and steel that works and keeps working. It has an awesome trigger and with the right ammo is super accurate. Yup theyre a little expensive but buy once and itll last a lifetime..buy cheap buy twice 😉 Most HWs come with proper decent iron sights metal on metal black on black, none of that trashy plastic fibre optic found on cheap guns. Ahhh the list is endless, well done buddy, excellent video 👍👍👍

There are only two producers of spring piston air rifles worth considering if you are serious about getting a good tool for the job. It's either Air Arms, or Weihrauch. And the only thing better on a TX200 or Pro Sport is the way it comes apart for service. They never really shoot better than a HW97 or HW77! Both can be tuned to near perfection, and that has been proven over and over again, for the money nothing beats a Weihrauch!

My favorite? Right now, it's my brace of HW35Es with a gorgeous walnut stocks, but next week it may be an HW97K. Love those Weihrauchs. Heirloom quality easily worth the price.

I started 48 years back with a HW50M from air rifle headquarters... just a tad more power than the HW30 Still have her- she cost a lot more than a "real" gun (ruger 10/22) and put a spring n seal in her a few years back. Love them- have several other vintage HW50's and a HW55 and grab about any reasonable second hand one I find :) I got a Beemanr7/hw 30 late n love that lil gun also. Had 2 until I gave one to a friend who could not hit chipmonks with his cheap airgun... he complains now that it is not fun- it shoots like a laser :p Any gun guy should treat themselves to a quality HW airgun- I have been saying that for years and still believe.

Yes, I wish that they were not so over the top expensive. Several things to consider with the price, they have to pay all of their employees at Weihrauch and then they have to make a profit themselves, and then they have to pay to have them shipped overseas, and then the distributor over here has to make a $ off them also + shipping and taxes.

I was a lil jealous of dads FWB 124 deluxe but even he had a hw50M- which I still have :D I did not start buying more ujjntil I found a couple at local auctiions and a freinds estate.... then some more auctions then the online stuff.... but the original 2-3 I had would still and are still worth having!

100% mate, the AirArms pip the HWs at the post. Straight out of the box they'll shoot rings around a HW no question, better trigger too and the wood on them is second to none. But here's the kicker they're much more expensive than a Weihrauch. Secondly and perhaps most importantly for me for my day to day shooting around the farm and woods the AirArms is left in the cabinet and it's always a Weihrauch that's used. Why? Simple I don't want to spend my hunting trip worrying about dinging up the stock or getting the metal wet and risk rust etc. The AirArms is relegated to the range in Summer months, when I want a workhorse that's going to do the business that's accurate and dependable it's always the HW as first choice 👍👍👍

My next purchase will be the TX200. I absolutely love it. I will be buying the 177cal. I've heard it's fairly quiet (around 70 db) with the factory shroud.
It will be the right hand walnut version. I love the look.
But my HW30S is still awesome for different reasons. It's almost half the weight, shorter and just very small feeling compared to the TX200. The HW30S is also way easier to cock.
But the TX200 has been calling out to me for awhile. So I will get one.
But the HW30S called to me as well..........😂

I love mine. AOA recommended a Hawke Vantage 2×7 32 when I purchased the rifle. They also recommended the sportsmatch mounts. AOA mounted and sighted the scope. I can keep shots inside a penny at 25yards with almost any pellet. I easily adjusted the trigger to 1lb. There's a little metal tab that the adjustment screw goes through that you twist with pliers to bind the screw to lock it in place.
Mine is 177cal. What's great is it shoots the cheap Walmart 7.4gr crossman pointed pellets fantastic.
Airguns of Arizona didn't even charge me tax. $514 shipped to my door. Best money I've ever spent.

@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I saw people online doing different things to prevent the screw from moving. Some recommend Vibra Tite on the threads, some loctite and others nail polish.
But I saw someone on the forums saying the metal bracket that the screw passed through was actually made to bend to set the screw. More like twisting the bracket. I actually confirmed this with AOA. So I wanted to try it. It worked perfectly. Several tins of pellets later and its still pulling at 12oz to 1lb depending on where I set the trigger guage on the trigger blade.
I wanted to try the rifle exactly as the manufacturer intended.

That rifle is beautiful! Some how I have yet to buy a weihrauch. I definitely want one.
I have a Diana 34 and 48. And the best one I own is the Air arm’s tx-200 Mk3. To be honest sometimes I find myself shooting my Hatsan 95 and 125 more than the others because like you said they seem to need work right out of the box. At least if you want them to group like the best of em.
But I think chasing the problem’s sometimes keeps me shooting more. The tx is so accurate sometimes you might get a little bored lol. I’m definitely not complaining about it lol. When you are serious about your hobby there is no shame in spending the money on a weihrauch. People spend their money on a lot more foolish things than that.

The HW30s is lighter, shorter, less powerful, but all of that is an advantage at close range plinking or pesting 🐇close to other structures.

      Very funny 🤣 Johnny.👍
The HW77 or HW97 are going to be tank heavy, but the ergonomic's are outstanding. The HW95 Luxus also has great ergonomic's and several pounds lighter and easier to load. For all around plinking and hunting, the HW95 Luxus for my pick, but I guarantee that you won't be sorry with an HW77.

I seen an online hunter , with the HW 97 And it was shit hot.. but I'm thinking they are all brilliant.. the Luxus is hard to find, cause the guys who have got them ain't gonna sell them 🤣🤣🤣 I don't blame them.. they are beautiful guns.. HW 98 is supposed to be good to🥰🥰🥰 😂... If it's heavy I just get my brother to carry it.. 🤣🤣🤣👍✌️🤟🤪🤪

@@johnnyhouston9913 The 98 has the heavy bull barrel which is suppose to help in accuracy, but I prefer to have the option of open sights. Keep looking every day for used HW's and something will pop up, even a HW50s would be a very nice addition. Keep on singing. Maybe you can make some airgun music.🎶
